On September 25, 2019, I was approaching an intersection going 25 mph. I applied the brakes to stop at the light, and the car kept moving. We collided with a car coming from the opposite direction, that was turning left. I stepped on the brakes and the car would not stop. We ended up driving over a sidewalk, into a parking lot. The car only stopped when I turned it off.

This morning as I was driving I went through a 4-way intersection. I was half way through the intersection when my car announced lane departure. At that time the vehicle shot over to the right and hit the curb at the end of the intersection. I shredded my tire, and had to place the spare on the vehicle. I have been to Honda multiple times for these electrical problems. While driving I have been go at a speed around 45-70 mph, and the vehicle will flash brake. At that time the vehicle's brakes will lock up. There was no one in front of me for any the occasions. Honda told me to switch my ez pass responder to make sure that wasn't causing interference. I switched it, and it kept occurring. This morning the concerns I brought up at my last service about what if I get in an accident almost became a reality. Luckily there was no one on the corner waiting to cross the road. The Honda dealership keeps telling me there will be an update, but something needs to be done now. Lives are at risk. If I knew how to go by doing a lemon I would. I started reporting issues at 18k, and have constantly been doing reporting occurrences were the vehicle has malfunctioned.

Driving on highway at 70 miles per hour in beautiful 80 degree weather day on an August afternoon - no rain, no obstructions - when all of a sudden the dashboard lights up with warnings on the adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system, brake failure, lane assist system - everything flashing and beeping. I immediately turn all the assist systems off but things still lite up and warning. When I am safely able to get off the highway to stop and turn car off and turn it back on all the warnings go away and appear to be fine. Sensors are clean and clear of obstructions. This is not the first time this has happened. Very scary! I keep the car clean and the sensors clean and unobstructed. Less than 25,000 miles on this car and it has had issues of not starting and dashboard flashing numerous times. Dealership actually toured it in on one occasion when it wouldn't start. Couldn't find anything and had us pick it up. Next morning would not start again. They finally replaced the battery. This was supposed to be a safe, reliable car and now I am afraid to drive it any distance with fear of failures.
Car display unit is overwhelmed with warning lights that stated the collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, and adaptive cruise control all have problems. It happens frequently when starting the vehicle and also while in motion.

Door lock cannot be opened for the passenger to be able to get out of the car in an emergency. The passenger in a hot car had to crawl out the driver's door. Also, the rear door could not be opened to get out emergency equipment. This was an emergency for my passenger. The drivers door and the two back seat door did work. Doors that you can not unlock from the inside is an emergency!.

While diving randomly at high speeds (60+ mph) and while turning in very good weather all warning lights light up (I have a video) and the vehicle loses power. This has happened a number of times on the highways and a major safety concern. I had to pull out of the highway stop and restart for the vehicle to regain power but the warning lights continue to be lit. After a couple of start and stop it disappears. It is a major safety concern and I have been lucky so far. I have approached the dealership thrice about the issue and they have replaced 2 sensors and updated the software but the issue persists.
While placing car into park shifter button broke out.
Every indicator light came on and flashed on my dashboard when I was driving, as well as a cruise control malfunction when I was driving on the highway, causing the system to shut off cruise control. The indicator lights that flash on the dashboard when this error occurs are as follows: brake system problem all wheel drive system problem tire pressure monitor problem electric parking brake problem road departure mitigation system problem collision mitigation system problem lane keeping assist problem adaptive cruise control problem hill start assist problem vehicle stability assist (vsa) problem anti-lock brake system problem power steering system (eps) problem I have had these lights go off multiple times in different contexts. The first time I was in a parking lot and turned on my car and all indicator lights came on, the second time this happened when I was driving on the road, the third time I was parking my vehicle and then the indicator lights came on. I have brought my car to my Honda dealer three different times with no solution. Each time, eventually the indicator lights go off, usually after starting and restarting the car or rebooting the computer causes them to turn off.
Tl-the contact owns a 2017 Honda-crv. The contact stated that their daughter drove their vehicle home from college. While the contact's daughter drove home the vehicle began stalled. Then the vehicle'e engine shuttered uncontrollably. The vehicle decelerated and then lost power. The contact had to drive 300 miles to get their daughter. Then they switched out vehicles. The contact drove the vehicle back into town. The lane mediation and crash sensor waning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to rick hendrick Honda of charleston 1539 savannah hwy, charleston, SC 29407 (843) 279-0447 where the vehicle was diagnosed. The test read that the problem was linked to a spare tire that needed to be changed. The vehicle was repaired. Later on the repaired failed. The contact had the tires switched out due to ware and the vehicle still presented the failure. The dealer stated that a system reboot was done. The contact found that the reboot was not done at all. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. No assistance was provided, 57,774. Jw.
My car was in motion I was making a right turn into the highway when my car just stopped. I turned it off, when I tried to turn it back on, it didn't. I started to smell something burning. So I just left it alone. Only the lights on the dashboard and the radio turned on, I was able to control the windows. The warning lights that came up were the electronic power steering, charging system, and the check engine lights.
While driving my car simply slams on the brakes out of no where. There was nothing in front of me. I was traveling approximately 45 miles an hour on an exit ramp when the car beeped, flashed brake, and it braked even thought my foot was still on the gas. The seat belt tightened up and the car stopped. Once it realized there was nothing there, it began to accelerate like a rocket ship. This has happened before on sunny days when it must have misread shadows on the road as objects and again, slammed on the breaks. If there had been a car behind me this morning, I have no doubt I would have been in a serious accident. What is wrong with this? I had brought it to the dealer before and I was insulted that they said my car was dirty. I would have died! if their sensors cannot function in a michigan spring, they need to do something!.
I was driving my Honda Cr-v (2017 model ex awd) on a highway at 40 to 50 mph speed. It was raining at that time. I experienced big jerks couple of times and lost the control on the vehicle. Saw error message on the dash board saying 'lost traction and cancelling cruise control'. It was horrific experience.
Car stalled. And vents smell of gasoline, gear shift is loose. Almost got in a car accident with my toddler and husband in car.
We were driving from bridgeport,wv to new jersey on 2/9/19. Four hours into the trip carall the lights on dash board came on and car slowed down and accelerator did not work at that point. Car stopped on the high way. We pulled over called aaa service and Toyota. We took the car in to Honda of turnersville, NJ they fix multiple dtc updated po302 related recall, updated pcm/tcu no more misfire. Car now we are having the same problem again. This week its twice.
Second time this car's warning system has activated since having the recalled a/c part replaced. While driving (hwy speeds 65+ mph)the car is losing acceleration ability in traffic and the dash is reading: power steering system problem road departure mitigation system problem electric parking brake problem tire pressure monitor problem emission system problem all wheel drive system problem brake system problem brake hold system problem. The first time the vehicle was brought to the dealer they could not tell what the problem was, but now this is the second occurrence since Feb 2019.
Cmbs faulty. It thinks there is n object on an empty road and hard brakes it's very hazardous to drive you never know when it's gonna happen dealer can't find the isssue.
Driving on a highway, 65 mph, with acc cruise control on. Suddenly it deactivated. Warning light for acc/ road departure mitigation/ collision mitigation and brake system problems warning indicators came on. Brake system warning was particularly stressful. I tried brakes and they seemed normal but acc definitely did not work. Tried multiple times to turn off system and turn it back on to no avail. Windshield was clean as was front sensor area. As I was on a highway I couldn't stop. An hour latter, while still on the road warning lights went off and all systems were available. Dealer was unable to determine what had happened. Now a month later same happened again and system recovered in about an hour while still driving. Lane keeping assist system was still working while the other systems went out so the camera was still functioning. Car seemed to function normally while these systems were out. As a former mechanic, police driving instructor and crash reconstructionist I know that this can not be caused by "low gas" or "gas in the oil". This is an electronics problem. I have also had the tire monitoring system malfunction three times.
On 3-11-19 at 6:14 pm I was driving with my wife on a parkway. Weather was clear and sunny, 39 degrees. There were no cars in front of me. I had the cruise control set at 61 mph when suddenly my vehicle put the brakes on disengaged the cruise control and lane assist control . Then a code flashed up saying 'auto high beam problem'. After a 15 minutes to reach my home I checked the high beams it was fine. In the last 4 weeks I have had code flash on the screen while I am driving saying system failure, for 5-10 minutes.
Yesterday I got in my car to head home from work. When I turned it on, I got a number of systems alerts, including the engine, brakes, power steering and others. I was able to get the car home, but when I was going to take it the dealership, the car sputtered and seems to be losing power as if it would stall. This is the third time that I have gotten system alerts and taken the car to be repaired. The first time, the oil was changed and a software update performed. The second time, a software update was performed. This time, I checked the oil and it was over full and smelled of gas. The car is now at the dealership for them to determine the issue. I live in texas. The first time this happened, was during the summer. The last two times have been in winter.
The collision avoidance system or whatever it is called suddenly slammed on the brakes when I approached a slight left curve in the road at 35 miles per hour (the posted speed limit). The system has activate at least 3 times before at the same place in the rad and same speed, for no apparent reason other than possibly a sign or tree that is close to the edbe of the road. However this time the braking was so severe it could have caused an accident if a car had been closely following me. I pass this place imultiple times every week for over a year, but the braking problem has only occurred 4 or 5 times.
Reoccurring issue of the infotainment screen either freezing or going bazerk while driving. Either nothing works, including the power button to turn the whole display off, or the button works, cuts the display off and the radio continues to play, or the display starts flashing between screens, adjusting the brightness, beeping continuously and sometimes making phone calls all while driving down the road. The only way to get it to stop is to pull off the road and cut the car off. This seems to be an issue with multiple people posting here. . . . . Who knows how many people aren't going thru this process to report. Isn't this distraction while driving dangerous enough to be investigated and provide for a recall. I have a video but don't know how to load it. It has happened multiple times before and after the video I took, but I'll use the date of the video. Hoping that posting to this site will bring some action.
My vehicle's warning lights are on for all features, including lane assist, stability, collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, tire pressure monitoring and many others. These features are currently not working. The first time the issue occurred was immediately upon starting the vehicle. I've taken it to two different dealers three times. The third time, I was told there was a problem with a fuel valve -- part of a Honda "campaign," whatever that means -- and that replacing/repairing the issue could take up to 60 days. I was dismissed from the dealer and told that the issue would not make my car stop working, and that I would be contacted when a part arrived. Meanwhile, my car is idling rough and I smell gas upon starting it.
While I was driving today the car system got jammed. I got a message brake system failed and I was not able to apply brakes. The brake pedal is hard to press. Then the tire pressure monitor, vehicle stability system, lane assist shows failed message. Luckily no one is in front of me so I was able to turn off the engine and steer the vehicle to side. I was on local road with my family and luckily no one got hurt. I reported this incident to Honda customer service and they asked me to contact local dealership to evaluate and report says an issue with failure electronic braking system.
Car begins to accelerate when in park or when my foot is not on the accelerator. Car also reads several codes relating to vsa, vtec, etc however when I bring it to get checked, new codes pop up relating to similar issues.

On Saturday, February 16, 2019 while driving on a clear afternoon, we went onto the entry ramp for the highway to rt 95 s. The ramp was not straight and had curves. When an attempt was made to apply the brakes to slow for the first curve, they did not respond as they should, they pulsed and locked. At the same time, the digital dash began displaying multiple warnings of systems not functioning including brake, emergency brake, transmission, power steering, tire pressure, lane assist, cruise control, hill assist,, etc. With difficulty we were able to pull onto the grass shoulder of the highway, there was not a breakdown lane in view. We tried shutting the car off and restarting, and the warnings persisted. I contacted Honda assistance and they sent a tow truck. The tow driver stated he had difficulty loading the car because of the brakes being locked. At the Honda dealership, they also could not release the brakes to off load the car.
While driving, safety systems go offline. Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, collision mitigation braking system, and others all go offline at the same time. Appears to happen at random. First visit to dealer, we were advised they did not see any codes and there was no malfunction at that time. Next visit, all the systems were still offline from earlier in the day and they performed some software updates which reset everything. Next day, safety systems went offline again. We took the vehicle back to the dealer where it is right now and they are advising that it is a fuel issue and gasoline is getting into the oil . No explanation how or why this is causing the safety systems to go offline and become inoperable. Have contacted Honda multiple times along they way, currently waiting on a case manager to call back.
No air bag.

2017 Honda crv parked in garage, when attempting to start engine, dash lights up warnings and sounds alarms on braking system, cruise control, lane assist system, battery, and many other areas. Car would not start and goes dead with second attempt to start. Dealership had car towed in to diagnose. Dealership state that toll tag too close to sensors (even though tag has been on windshield for 18 months with no problem). Toll tag scraped off windshield. Six weeks later, car in garage and dash lights up with alarms and sounds with same alerts. Car goes dead. Dealership had car towed in to diagnose.
Braking system and other sensors have been coming on and off without cause. For example, brakes are engaged even when I am alone on the road and not braking. The cruise control will not engage at times and warning lights appear for no reason. In addition, blind spot monitor comes on when no cars are in vicinity. I had my software updated for recall but same issues. I just want to send complaint for others who may also have same issue with Honda crv. When I complained before I was told it was likely weather related but recently this happen even when weather was great, no rain etc. As a side these so -called safety features need to work best in rain and other bad weather. Error message go away when I park and turn off car. These malfunctions generally occur during highway driving.
Takata recall car is sputtering, and then stalling, alarm system goes off unexpectantly, check engine light and other lights go off - reads as misfire and has to deal with emisions system. Appears to happen in other model Hondas and some type of switch. Dangerous if car stalls in traffic.

Tl the contact owns a 2019 Honda Cr-v. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle shook, vibrated, and began to decelerate. Also, the electric parking brake, transmission, brake system, brake hold, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system, road departure mitigation system, blind spot information system, and auto high beam system warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 800.
While driving on the highway, the vehicle started to stall and shake. The instrument panel went black, then the audio screen went black. The gas gauge light came on, then turned off on its own. The instrument panel lights came on, all of the warning indicators were on. The dealership stated that the fuel injectors needed replacing and that it would be covered under warranty. They also stated that the whole audio system would need to be replaced but that the part is on back order and would not be able to order until March 1, 2019.
Amber caution annunciation for acc, cms, rwds and lkas with steady brake system amber indicator while driving on a two-lane highway at highway speeds. Pulled onto shoulder of highway, shut off ignition and restarted, clearing the cautions.
Engine rattles at early morning start up , Honda aware of vtc actuator default and needs to open a recall cases to all crv made between 2012-2014. I have had to replace the cam shafts, and drive belt. I have had to replace the control arms and tires. All mt dash lights have come on while I was driving. The car shakes and is scary to drive. This car has safety issues with the control arms in the suspension and acceleration issues that have been reported by consumers. When does someone decide that this is a safety issue. When a car has tire, acceleration, or issues with transmission this is a safety issue. Honda should do something to show they care about the consumer safety. There are many issues with the Honda Cr-v please address the serious ones.
