The contact stated that a few days later, while his wife was driving it, the lane departure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with a steering gearbox malfunction. The vehicle was not repair. The contact related the failure with the technical service bulletin: 23-037 (2022–23 civic eps gearbox replacement); however, the vehicle was not covered under TSB. Failure Date: 05/31/2021

The contact owns a 2021 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently downshift without warning. The contact also stated that the failure would occur while the cruise control was activated.
