After over a 12-15 attempts over a week I still cannot locate the anchors to which a child safety seat attaches in the back seat. The driver's manual is not only not helpful, but misleading. It's necessary to google the problem to locate the anchors and then still has been impossible to attach the latches. This would be especially difficult for anyone regularly removing and replacing a child seat. I've given up and hope an angel is watching over me when I transport my grandchildren. How many more will revert to this method before a child is injured?.

I was stopped in traffic about 10 feet behind a vehicle and rear ended by a car going at least 40 - 50 mph. The crash caused my car to be pushed into the car in front of me. There was a small amount of damage to the front of my car, but there was extensive damage to the rear of my car, pushing the back seats into the front. My car was totaled. Not one airbag deployed, the drivers seat broke and my seatbelt did not restrain me after the initial impact causing me to be thrown into the passenger seat and knocking me out. There were no passengers in my car.

The Honda crv ex-l 2015 idles rough/vibrates profusely when in drive/foot on brake. The steering wheel, headrests, items in the cup holder all rattle/vibrate vigorously when the vehicle is idling at approx. 550-600 rpm. Even the back seats carry the vibration of the vehicle. My children (back seat passengers) now complain of nausea/headaches when in the vehicle for prolonged periods of time. This is much more than an 'annoyance'. This is extremely distracting to the driver, causing the driver to potentially loose focus on what is important, which is safe driving. I've had passengers comment on the vigorous vibration as well. We have brought the vehicle in for service numerous times. The vibration/rough idle was indeed confirmed; however, there is no way for the service dept to fix. A service request has been sent to Honda as there is no 'fix' at this time. Completely unacceptable for a new vehicle. There are many consistent complaints of this exact problem on reputable websites all stating that Honda is not fixing the problem.

One week ago purchaed a 2009 Honda crv with 26k miles. Have had 2 previous crv's (1999 & 2002) we purchased the 2009, after a 15 minute test drive, everything seemd fine. After driving for the past week, noticed horrible lower back pain, legs & feet having "pins & needles" numb feeling & seat uncomfortable regardless of the manual seat adjustment position it is in, lumbar support on lower back of seat puts too much pressure on lower back, no way to adjust it. Never had back problems like this before. Seats are very firm, even adding additional cushion or blanket does not help. Bottom of seat is at an incline, and it puts strain on knees / legs. No adjustment to straighten seat level from incline on the lx. Contacted dealership and Honda and they both said nothing can be done. . Read more...

The contact owns a 2011 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that the left and right rear seat head rests were defective. When he placed the child seat in the left and rear seats, he was unable to remove the head rest and the child seat could not securely lean against the seat; there was a large space between the child seat & vehicle seat. The contact called the manufacturer who sent instructions on how to remove the head rest but the contact was unable to do so. The failure mileage was 200 and the current mileage was approximately 1,200. Updated 02/03/lj

I bought a Honda crv 2007. The second row of seats has a small division that can lean forward. If a child puts his arm between one of the other two seats and the small section and another person returns it to it's vertical position the child's arm can be injured. That can happen if a toddler is seating on his carseat in one of the side seats.

During a 45 mph frontal vehicle collision rear captains seat reclined back and the other forward. A child was in the seats, and child sustained head injuries. The rear seats in the back folded down to enlarge the trunk area (60/40 split). During the accident, the seats both disengaged from their lock upright positions because of the positioning of the car seats (one forward and one backward), the seats ended up in different positions. The car was totaled and towed away. No attempts to repair it were made.

Purchased new Honda crv ex-automatic from conicelli Honda of conshohocken, PA on October 17, 2003. From the first day there is a rattle coming from the rear of the driver's side. This rattle is not only annoying but distracts from my concentration while driving. Took the car to the dealer twice. First on 10/20/03. Service manger frank boyle stated noise coming from rear seat and asked me to make an appointment for it to be repaired. Made appointment and left the car with the service dept. For one full day on 10/27/2003. Rattling noise not repaired. Nothing done. The noise still exists. This noise is a major distraction to the driver and probably a safety hazard because it distracts the driver.
