Tl-the contact owned a 2007 Honda Element. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35-40 mph, the contact crashed into the rear of another vehicle which caused a chain reaction. The contact stated that the air bags failed to deploy. The contact was not injured but has since experienced pain in the left arm. A police report was filed. The contact was able to drive the vehicle from the scene back to the residence. The vehicle was towed to the insurance company's lot to be inspected. The vehicle was not repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure, case number: 09915922. The approximate failure mileage was 310,000. The vehicle was destroyed. Ah.
Was involved in a car accident on 8/22/12. I was driving a 2007 Honda Element awd at 55mph. An accident happened in front of me which resulted in me hitting a truck and a van hitting me. The airbags never deployed. . . Not one! I am upset that I bought this car because of the safety measures and when I needed them, nothing happened. Both the driver and passenger suffered very sore necks, shoulders and backs! I want a investigation done on my vehicle to see why the airbags never deployed!!! thankfully nobody was killed due to some malfunctioning airbags.
