2 Rear Suspension problem of the 2005 Honda Element

Failure Date: 06/06/2009

The bushing that holds the left rear axel to the frame of my 2005 Honda Element fell apart and dropped the axel causing damage to the tire and wheel axel and other parts. Looking at the bushing after the fact, I can see where the two 1" stub bolts have worn the bushing in a oblong hole causing the bushing to fail. I do feel this is a design issue with all Elements. Please check into this, as I'm almost afraid to drive this car as for it happening again.

3 Rear Suspension problem of the 2004 Honda Element

Failure Date: 09/14/2005

I have had my Honda Element into my dealer for the same creaking issue in the rear of my vehicle over 6 times. Everytime it's not fixed and they manage to mess up something else. Latest is I have no rear hatch light and the grab handle falls off.
