In the morning, I turn the car on and put the car into gear and begin to move. When I come to my first stop the car stalls out. This happens every morning. Once I start the car back up it runs fine and does not stall out. I have searched many blogs and see that many people are having this issue. I would like a recall to be made for this since it seems to be a common problem on Honda Fit models 07/08. The contact owns a 2007 Honda Fit. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the vehicle momentarily stalled and restarted on its own. The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure had since recurred on an intermittent basis. The failure mileage was 65,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Honda Fit. While driving any speed, the contact stated that the vehicle felt as if the engine was rotating and the engine responded as if the vehicle were going to stall. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they replaced the spark plugs;however, the vehicle continued to stall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The current mileage was 96,000. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. Updated 08/01/lj the consumer stated the vehicle constantly misfires and there is constant speed stutter. The consumer stated the problem began after the recall repairs were done.
