1 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Failure Date: 02/08/2011

2007 Honda Fit base with manual transmission in florida, the problem first appeared after the the vehicle reached the 30,000-35,000 mile mark and continues to this day. When the ambient temperature is less than 75 degrees f and the engine has not reached normal operating temperature the engine will stall every time the clutch pedal is depressed, this behavior continues until the vehicle reaches normal operating temperature. My vehicle has been to several Honda dealerships over the past 2 years to diagnose the problem but they were unable to determine the cause as no diagnostic trouble codes are registered. It makes it difficult to safely merge with traffic as the engine stalls whenever the clutch pedal is depressed.
