The contact owns a 2007 Honda Fit. The contact stated that the key failed to unlock the driver side door sporadically. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and stated that they were no longer manufacturing the part. The approximate failure mileage was 72,014.
Significant water leak through the driver's side doors causing accumulation of mold and other irritants. As an asthmatic this car has almost been undriveable. I spend countless hours drying the carpet and leaving the windows open to air out. Have not found a fungicide or odorant to cover the mold. Just as soon as I dry it up, the next rain storm will drench it all over again.
