Have had to replace batteries every single year since purchase in 2015. Vehicle will function fine then struggle to start out of nowhere. Despite taking steps to avoid unnecessary power draining and trying different brands of batteries (which is a small selection) every year around October/November it starts to fail. The car can be jumpstarted without too much issue by another vehicle, but portable jumpstarting systems struggle to get it going. Issues will start without much correlation of how much the vehicle had been in motion prior. Car could've been stationary/turned off for 30 mins or a day with the same results.

Car would not start intermittently for about a month. Several times it took over 15 minutes to get the car to start. Dealership states after analysis that it is the starter. They said it is not the starter switch, alternator or battery. A new starter installed will cost over $700. This is happening to many Honda cars that I've researched on the internet, but Honda has no recall on this issue. Something fishy about that.

The speedometer and gas register either goes blank or shows gibberish several times a day. You cannot deduce speed limit on highway or see how much gas you have.
My 2013 Honda Fit has only 76,000 on it. While driving the radio shut off, head lights dimmed, dash board lights flickered and I lost power steering. Took it to the Honda service station in jasper alabama and they could not find the problem. The engine light and steering wheel with exclamation point showed up on the dash board. Car looses power steering while driving for a few seconds and then comes back on. This is very dangerous. With a vehicle with less than 80,000 miles on it this should be recalled as I am not the only one on this forum to have a complaint about this exact issue.

I was driving on a two way highway at 55 mph with no cars in front of me in my lane. An incoming car in the other lane going about 55 or more mph was driving in the other lane. As the car got closer to my car and in their lane, the Honda Fit sensors went off. First, the brake signal flashed on the panel and made a loud warning noise. Secondly, my steering wheel rattled. Lastly, the car started to brake quickly. Luckily, I softly hit the brakes and it overrode the sensor. It felt like it was starting to do a full stop on the highway with cars behind me. This has happened a second time at 45 mph. Now I have to turn off the sensors every time. I worry it will glitch again or turn on and brake at a full stop without my control. The turning sensors also are malfunctioning especially at turns. Even when you are in between the lines and going slow, it turns on and slides you towards the middle, yellow line and towards oncoming traffic.

4 warning ligghts glowed. Saftey breaking, steering, tires, engine lights. Aug. 21,2018 took to Honda dealer. Found misfire cylinder #1. Replacement of cylinder was done replaced ignition coils. Car was fine. On oct 28,2018 again same lights came on again ! found online there was a saftye recall done for this issue. But my car had no recalls. Please help. This is expensive and frighteing.
Driving on freeway, a car was stopped ahead, hit brakes, automatic braking system did not engage, hit rear of car ahead directly without much slowdown compared to expectation, possibly skidding straight, for what seemed like 2-3 seconds (long enough to be puzzled) or forever. Have not had automatic braking kick in a lot of times in past, never had an accident like this. No fluid leakages seen on ground before or after accident. Car was drivable but totaled, no injury reported. Tires 1 year old. Had just gotten on freeway, which had turned to straightaway, so might have been going around 50 when braking started, maybe 15-20 on impact. Passenger side air bag went off.

My car alarm keeps going off when I don't lock my door and the doors constantly lock even though my car is off or I'm parked or if I'm driving on the road.

My car would not pass smog due to the on-board computer not completing the emission system's self-checks. The obdii monitor's (catalyst) was not ready. After driving thousands of miles and it not resetting I had to take it to a mechanic who had to replace both 02 sensors. 3 months later the check engine light is on for the very same 02 sensors.

Takata recall . Question ; my vechile power steering locks up eps dash light steering wheel lights up. Yellow on dash board this goes on the car and disables it and dose it a lot . In speeds of under 25 m. P. H. Car will shut down . Worried of the accident it may cause . Too safety concerned . And only have 57171 miles on vechile . While in motion. Turning also left or right turns. In local city streets.
Takata recall! my Honda Fit 2013 has is only at 40k miles and its already failing at keeping me safe. The esc light comes on randomly for no reason at any given time. I know that some models have a recall for that exact problem and I'm afraid that Honda didn't fix the problem correctly. I know that it puts my life at risk because my car doesn't have complete control even when I'm just driving straight and under 30 mph. My car no longer feels safe, I know that that feature is there to help me have control at all times, but it's not working and I don't know what to do. Whenever that light comes on I feel my car loser for some reason, it's not as sturdy as usual. I hope that somebody can find out what's wrong thus be able to help me find a solution and feel safe again. Thanks!.
My car began lurching as soon as I pressed the accelerator to leave my driveway. Cars go 50 mph on my road despite the 35 mph signs, I was scared I was going to be rear ended and had to yank the car over to the side of the road immediately. I was afraid I was going to be rear ended. What if the wires had been only mostly chewed and they came loose while I was on the parkway??.
In addition to the takata inflators recall, the srs computer is not functioning. When the dealership replaced an inflator last year, they noticed that the srs computer is completely dead and said I will need to purchase a new one.
Was in an accident after recall in which the front end was crushed completely and none of the airbags opened recently took car in for recall prior and complained about other concerns with car at dealership.

On a curvy back road. Had no control of steering. Hit an embankment and rolled over. Totaled vehicle.
Manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Honda Fit. The contact stated while driving 30 mph the vehicle front end seized after the brakes were depress. The were no warning indicators illuminated prior to or after the failure. Prior to the failure the vehicle made an abnormal noise. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the failure could not be diagnosed. The vehicle had the rotors replaced, brake pads, and tires replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 23,653. Kh.
At 29,000 had to replace tires, sidewall cracking and one tire had a bubble. Asked Honda about promised warranty and they said there was no warranty, contact tire dealer but tires were a special purchase by Honda. Tpms damaged by wartart when mounting new tires, fixed & reset by Honda . Had Honda do a front end alignment they state left wheel "frozen" -"unfixable" I did hit brakes very had about 6 weeks ago, felt tires freeze, grab, car went sideways. Can this be related to esc recall?.
My daughter had an accident, this is her account: I was driving my 2010 Honda Fit on highway 880 northbound in the vicinity of alameda on Friday, January 16th 2015. I had been driving for at least a half hour on the highway and was in the left most lane going about 70 mph. Suddenly without any warning my car began to swerve violently to the right into the lane to my right. My first thought was that one of the tires had blown out, so I took my foot off the gas and did not touch the brakes, thinking just that I should try to keep the car away from other vehicles and as gently as I could bring it to the side of the road away from traffic. Immediately after the first swerve, the car did not react in the slightest to my steering attempts to keep it straight or away from traffic, and it swerved left and right a couple more times before hitting the concrete median on the left hand side of the highway. The front of the car crunched into the median, and the whole car flipped on its passenger side and scraped against the median before finally coming to a halt upside down. Once the car stopped I saw that miraculously nothing inside of the car was impeding my exit, and the glass on both the windows had completely shattered, so I undid my seatbelt and crawled out of the passenger side window and immediately stood up. Thankfully no other cars or passengers were involved, 911 was called, and the policeman who came said the incident sounded like it was due to tire damage from my description but then examined the wheels of the car and reported that he didn’t see anything awry with them, leaving the cause of the accident a mystery. I heard no sounds preceding the swerving, smelled no strange smells, noticed nothing strange about the car’s steering, and have had no indication whatsoever of anything being “off” with the car before the incident.

I have taken this vehicle to several mechanics, auto zone found 9 codes, most of them were regarding misfiring in the engine. When on the highway or sitting still the engine studders and sometimes stalls. The valves have been adjusted , the spark plugs and ignition coil packs have been replaced and the car has had a tune up. The engine still stalls out in the middle of the highway. I feel this is an unsafe vehicle, Honda should recall and fix this problem.
Last winter I went germain Honda of dublin and they said they couldn't find any thing. They said when the check engine light comes on t 8 b try ing it in and they said they will scan the light. When my checkengine light come on by the time I get to the dealers its not on. I had the battery repalce back in January 2014. My car will be 5 years in August. Will this part throtle actuator control motor be cover under warranty? here is the code I got from advance auto p2101 which is throtle actuator control motor.
I scheduled an appointment for safety recall repairs with sheehy Honda of alexandria, va. Sheehy Honda refused to conduct repairs for federal motor safety standard recall no. 126, "electronic stability control systems,' indicating they had no record of my vehicle needing this repair.

The contact owns a 2013 Honda Fit. The contact stated that the tire pressure monitoring system and the traction control system failed. The tires were losing pressure without warning and the traction control system failed to engage when the contact was attempting to pass a vehicle. The dealer did not inspect the vehicle nor perform a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 800 and the current mileage was 5,200.
Driving solo, speed below the 65 mph speed limit, in left lane of a four lane divided highway (state highway 1, southbound, approximately 1/4 mile before airport bl exit). Highway was being repaved. Left lane was finished, and asphalt raised between 4 and 6 inches above right lane. Steered to the right to avoid construction debris and right front wheel went partially off the raised pavement onto the old pavement. Steering wheel suddenly veered to the right and would not allow correction to be made to the left. No steering control at all. Steering locked in position and resisted all efforts by driver to move steering wheel from fixed position. Vehicle left the road onto the unpaved shoulder and did a complete rollover. Side airbags deployed. Roof crushed and extensive body damage - judged total loss by insurance company. Driver suffered severe fractures of the left arm and wrist requiring surgery, and multiple contusions. Lengthy physical therapy and rehabilitation required and suffers permanent impairment of left arm.
At sustained highways speeds of 70-75mph, with the outdoor temperature above 87 deg. F, vehicle wheels intermittently veered, taking the vehicle out of the lane rapidly, and without any feedback on the steering wheel. This occurred on both freshly paved interstate highways and older pavement, with no wind present. It occurred several hundred times during a 2-3 hour road trip, forcing a speed of 50mph for safety, despite the much higher speed limit. At higher speeds it would occur every 1-2 seconds, requiring extreme focus and insanely rapid reflexes to prevent a crash. The dealership was unable to replicate the problem a week later when the weather was cooler. It recurred when the heat wave returned, and sometimes shows up at speeds as low as 45mph. Simultaneously occurring symptoms: * the steering becomes much looser, going from a sensitivity of 1/4" on the steering wheel to requiring a full inch of movement to affect the wheels whatsoever. * ever 20 seconds, a 'african rain-stick' like sound occurs from the dash air vents, and lasts 3-4 seconds.
Recurring engine misfire causing, rattling, slowing down, panel light out, engine shut off.
