The paint is peeling off the roof of my 2017 Honda Fit. I have read up on this online and it seems to be a very common issue. Honda has already recalled the other white version of my car for the same issue, and I got a letter saying not to worry that doesn't apply to me. I have read from others experiences warrantying their Honda's for this issue that it's a one time fix and any further issues with paint are 100% coming out of the consumers pocket. Honda has stated that they will not provide me with a loaner car or rental car if I put my car in the shop to get this fixed. Their response is that they can't control what their dealers provide. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Paint is chalking and cracking off my hood and roof. Started noticing in March 2017. Asked Honda service center about it and after sending me to a paint specialist to get it looked at/paint job estimate and being told it looked exactly like the paint issues Honda civics are experiencing, Honda service center manager told me it was normal wear and tear and they would not help me.
My 2009 Honda sport is red. The paint is fading all over. . . . So much that it appears pink in many places. This is not representative of what Honda's do. I am hopeful that Honda will cover costs for repainting the vehicle.

Noticed red paint fading on roof, trunk, doors, etc. Understand Honda cheaped out on the primer and uv protection clear coat on their cars. I understand that they need to make this right and provide a free paint job to the affected customers and that includes me!.

The paint on my car has either not cured correctly at the factory, or is too soft. After driving the car for a few months the paint is chipping off and the car looks worse than my 7 year old Honda accord. This is not a safety concern, but will definitely cause the car to rust very soon. This should not happen after 6 months of driving. If you search online, this is not an isolated incident and almost all Fit owners are noticing that there is a serious issue with the paint on the car that will cause the body of the car to start to rust very quickly.
