The contact stated that the failure had occurred while the cruise control was activated while driving in the rain or whenever the weather was dry. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent, and there was a message that several undisclosed safety features were disabled. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer on several occasions; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. While driving the car with the cruise control being set, the setting gets cancelled automatically while the vehicle is in motion and the vehicle slows down immediately. This has happened to my vehicle more 20-30 times now in the past less than one year. I reset the cruise speed again and it again cancels the set speed.
