The Honda Insight 2013 apparently has defects in the oil consumption level. I was driving my car a month ago with my oil service renewed completely at a dealershop and suddenly a month later the car started to show me signs of (oil change need to repair) and an emission system signal on the front led screen inside the car. I knew at the moment it was not my fault for not putting the oil on time but it was the car's oil consumption level I know this by experience because on the other cars it does not happen but the Honda Insight does. It also made a large clunk noise which meant that I had to put more oil inside the car to keep the car from not functioning anymore. There needs to be a recall for this type of vehicle because I feel like I am not the only person that has this type of problem.

Takata recall: called my Honda dealer (brilliant Honda of crystal lake, IL) on April 8 after receiving letter from Honda corp. It has been more than 3 months & I still have not been called for my replacement. I live an hour away from closest Honda dealer & asked them for a "loaner car" which they do not have. I no longer feel comfortable driving more than 30 mins from my home, or taking passengers in my car. Can you help me?.

Takata airbag. . . Got my recall notice in April and still haven't been able to get this fixed. Calls to dealer and Honda corporate yield no results. 2012.
I received a safety recall notice in the mail for the air bag in my vehicle. I contacted the dealership that the car was purchased from and after a lengthy back and forth they finally agreed to pay for rental car from enterprise rentals. This was only after my questions on liability; should my vehicle be one of "rare" cases where the airbag shoots out metal fragments. When we went to enterprise they only had one vehicle available and it was a giant Ford truck. One which I could not reasonably get in and out of. I am pregnant and the climb into the truck is not something my doctor would recommend. Randy kuehl Honda stated that there is nothing more that they can do for me. They didn't even try checking with other enterprise locations to see if they have more vehicles available. I was left unsatisfied so they directed me to contact you with a complaint.

Takata recall I received my first notice of the recall in March and another in July. The local dealer has yet to have the parts for replacement and just keeps telling me to call at the end of the month every month since March. This is extremely annoying to have limited use of my passenger seat and have no concrete date for a repair.

I got a notice that both airbags on my car were faulty and that Honda would fix them for free. The parts didn't come in for 3 or 4 months. I was commuting 400 miles a week for work and asked them to provide a rental car for me until then. They would furnish the car but I was responsible for the insurance on it. They told me to get it insured by my own personal auto insurance company. My insurance company told me they would not do that and neither would any other. Since I could not afford to pay the $20. 00 a day for the rental car insurance I had to just take my chances of serious injury or even death in the event of my airbags going off. My 82 year old mother rode in that car to her doctor's appointments and the grocery. We both have copd and I have a pacemaker. The stress the situation caused was staggering and certainly not good for either of us. What good did it do for Honda to inform me of the recall if they couldn't fix it right away and would not pay the insurance so I could get a rental car? I guess the sick and elderly don't matter to a big company like Honda.
Takata recall. I received a recall notice last March, 2016 for an air bag recall. I have called the dealership, john eagle Honda several times. Sometimes they say the will order the part. I never get a straight answer. I called the manager and left a voice message, but never got a call back. I live in houston and have heard that people in humid climates should be worried. I don't know what to do. I can't stop driving my car because I need to get places. But it has been 1/2 year now. I am currently driving the car.
