Honda will not warranty failed front passenger side airbags. Due to 36,000/ three year warrantee expiration. A federal mandate recall on front airbags was already executed on this vehicle. Why has Honda not been made to warrantee all airbags systems associated with the front passenger and driver seats. Does it take serious injury or death to make the NHTSA regulate manufactures to stand behind the safety equipment in their vehicles for the life of the vehicle. I hope that my complaint along with other vehicle owner complaints about this safety issue will be addressed ASAP.

While coming to a stop for vehicles stopped at the traffic light at the end of my street, I rear-ended an oil truck in front of me. My driver's side airbag deployed as I applied the brakes to stop, causing me to lose control and hit the oil truck. My vehicle was totaled and my injuries were not severe.
