Yes when I purchased the vehicle I was missing a few fuses, my back left door won't open or close on my car display it always shows that the back left door is always open. Also the car was missing a break pad on the front left wheel. It's also missing the passenger airbag. The dvd player doesn't work it always says error. And the car is missing all motor mounts so basically my motor is just hanging on top of cables in my car. The gps display was also missing and my front right window doesn't close all the way up. The major #1 issue is the electrical problems in my car. I have 2 children I'm scared on day everything is fine & then one day it's not with my kids in the car god forbid. Oh yeah and the middle row left seat doesn't lean forward or back.
1) I have occasional "check airbags" message popping up on the dashboard, which disappear after turning off/back on. It may happen while I am riding or when setting the gear to park and unplugging the seatbelt. Consumer reports shows that there was a recall declared on airbags back on August 1, 2005 shortly after I bought this car on may, 2005. American Honda said that there is no recall on airbags. I would still drive this car and by that reason decided contact nhtds. 2) rust on the body of the car above the rear right wheel is getting deeper. I have seen exactly the same spot rusted on other Odysseys made in 2005 or later, when driving.
Power steering does not work under 1000 rpms. Passenger airbag is not functioning.
Car will only run from 3 to 8 days. Then has to jumped off. New battery. Alternator and battery checked no problem. I think it might be the fuse boxes or something electrical. Vehicle is stationary.

Tl-the contact owned s a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph, another vehicle crashed into the front end of the vehicle. The front and rear passenger's air bag side curtain filed to deploy with the massive impact. The driver and front seat occupant sustained body bruises that required no medical attention. The vehicle was completely destroyed and towed to an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 133,000. Js.
Air bar warning on and off for unknown reasons.
For no reason the check airbag system light came on.
On June 15, 2015 my 2005 Honda Odyssey airbag system light came on and stayed until now, I was scared due to airbag might blown out or causing any trouble while vehicle in use or worst something happen. I took my vehicle to Honda dealer on June 16, and I was told no recalls. They did some diagnose and I was told it was the seat belt buckle and wiring on driver side, the buckle was replace (free of charge), but the wiring cost $550 to have it fix. I refused the service due to no sense and not enough evidence to prove the issue. I did some research and found same issue on same vehicle that has airbag system lights on dashboard. I do believe that the dealer should address this as recall especially if the vehicle never been in accident. Please let me know if there is anything you can do to address this issue. Thanks.
After starting the car, sometimes error "check airbag system" immediately appear on the front screen panel. Sometime no above error showed after starting the car.
About for the last two months on dash show me an alert of the check air bags . In the begining was on and off , now is stady light with this alert.
Air bag check light is constantly on. Began with intermittant on/off but now on all the time.
The message "check airbag system" lights up on the dashboard. Initially, it began lighting up more intermittently and then going off, but now it is on nearly all the time. My VIN does not show up as part of the airbag recall that Honda has. It appears there are many other 2005 Odyssey owners who are experiencing this same problem. Please begin an investigation on this problem.
My airbag warning come when am driveing my van.
We were traveling at about 55mph when the car in front of us suddenly came to a complete stop. I stepped as hard on the brake as I could and we hit the rear of the car in front straight on. The complete front of my car was crushed. We were thrown against the seat belts and both suffered cracked sternums. None of the air bags deployed. I have photos of my car after the accident.
Our vehicle has a safety recall for the problem we have with our vehicle (NHTSA recall # 05v-344) but our VIN is not included. Since the exact problem we have is part of a recall the make/model/year of our vehicle, we are questioning why our VIN is not included, and questioning whether the recall should be expanded to include other vins (including our number).
Air bag sign is on and stays on. Also the door on the passenger and driver sliding will not close or open properly. They open when driving automatically. It has been a problem for so long but my mom has not reported. The paint has chip away and we did not get a recall notice. I checked and now it is too late.
I was driving my Honda Odyssey 2005 model at 40mph, suddenly the "check airbag system" light on my car dashboard came on until this time. Please investigate this problem. Your immediate action is highly appreciated. Thank you.
The air bag malfunction light comes on sporadically. Did not receive a recall notice but I see other '05 ody owners are having the same problem.
Takata recall: cut off monitor doesnt allow the car to know if someone is in the seat or not.
The brakes on this car never worked well. They screached and squealled and were slow to respond. Despite many trips to the dealer and mechanics, they insisted nothing was wrong. I rear ended someone coming down a hill because I was unable to brake. The difference in speed must have been at least 35 mph. My airbags did not go off. I hit the seatbelt way too hard. The car in front of me did have his airbags go off.
This vehicle was not involved in an incident. I wanted to file a complaint regarding the safety feature of the airbags. The srs light remains illuminated on the dashboard. I noticed a recall on other 2005 Odysseys and wanted to see if other 2005 Odyssey owners have experienced the same issue. This is a safety issue that I take seriously and should not have to pay to have fixed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The air bag malfunction light comes on sporadically- looking on line I see there was a recall in 2005 for a malfunctioning airbag sensers in the 2005 Odyssey - but ours did not get the recall notice - it looks like there are several other 2005 Odyssey owners that also currently having this issue- the 2005 recall on this should have been more comprehensive so we would not be getting malfunction warning.
The contact took car to the dealership this morning for a recall repairs concerning the air bags. The dealer was very nasty. He told the contact they would get to it when they could if they even got to it. He received the recall letter about a week ago. The contact called to make an appointment to bring the car in, but he was put on hold several times . He was unable to make an appointment. He did not leave the car there. He was going to take it to another dealer.
