1 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 02/04/2017

This vehicle has left/right electric sliding passenger doors. The doors have begun to open and close on their own. It has done so while the vehicle is in motion creating a fearful situation. The doors have also opened on their own while parked and unattended. Fingers have been pinched trying open or close the doors manually. This problem has been going on for months. Thier are numerous internet entries about this problem.

2 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 01/02/2015

The rear trunk door does not unlock with key remote or from door unlock switch. The door does not have a key hole or manual unlock provision. This is a safety hazard in case of accident as you cannot open the trunk by any other mechanism as it will not unlock electronically.

3 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 07/06/2013

I parked my van and opened the manual rear passenger door. The rear door latch would not operate when we tried to close the door. This is a significant safety issue since I have a 9 year old son who rides in the seat adjacent to the defective door. I took it to the Honda dealer and was told that replacing the latch and also the defective roller arm would cost $296.
