The contact owns a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while traveling various speeds, the vehicle erroneously accelerated as the vsa warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that there were cracks in the radiator that affected the engine temperature and caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted about the failure. The failure mileage was 48,000.

2 Radiator problem

Failure Date: 08/04/2007

I own a 2006 Honda Odyssey (purchased July 2006). Last weekend, I noticed blue fluid (coolant) on the grill accompanied by a burnt smell and the coolant fluid was below the minimum level. Just two weeks prior, this car was taken in to the dealers for the 1 year minor tune-up. The dealers reported that a rock has punctured the radiator, so that is where the leak was coming from. I was told that this case is not covered by the warranty because it is not from the normal wear and tear. I find it unfair that due to the poor design of the grill that I have to pay a $500 deductible to get this fixed.
