The contact drove to the side of the road and upon exiting the vehicle, the contact saw smoke emerging from the front of the vehicle. The contact then stated that the vehicle lit up in flames. There were no crash or injuries due to the fire. The fire department was contacted and was able to extinguish the fire. The police came but a police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to a impound lot. The contact has not notified a local dealer. The vehicle has not been diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and the contact filed a complaint with them. The failure mileage was 120,000. Rd.
