The contact stated several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The driver cruised to the side of the road safely and had the brake pedal depressed. The vehicle was not drivable. The vehicle was towed to local dealer heritage Honda bel air located at 1800 belair rd suite a, fallston, MD 21047, (410) 343-5644, where it was diagnosed with needing the battery to be replaced. The contact stated that the battery was replaced however, she continued to experience the failure 45 minutes after leaving the dealer. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 9,566.

I bought this van and it had a simple problem that we fixed. . It still wouldn't stay running. . I dead on the interstate 3 times. . I dead on a main hwy 5 times. . Had to leave the van in a parking lot 5 times. . Ive had to have it towed to the house bc we cant get it to stay running 3 tims. . . . I believe its one of the recall sincerer . . Maybe. . Or mayb the fuel pump. . But I would love to have what needs to be. . Replaced so I can enjoy my van again. . .

2/5/2020 I was traveling at highway speeds with moderate traffic, when the main display screen in my minivan started flashing error messages. The radio display screen was acting wacky also. The van started making a loud rapid 'click. Click. Click. " type noise. I was trying to figure out what was happening, when I noticed that the display said "p" for park. I could not accelerate to merge out of traffic. It happened so fast and was so startling. I was able to coast and move over to the shoulder and stop the van. I turned off the ignition and started it back up and it drove normally. My husband took it to the dealership and they moved the toll tag sticker on the windshield and said it was interfering with the sensors. 2/6/2020 I was too scared to drive it, so my husband drove it. He was on the freeway and the same thing happened to him. It is currently at the dealership. The dealership now says it is loose connections at the battery. The noise it made was horrible and I'm concerned that there is physical damage to the vehicle. The van has just over 5,000 miles on it and was purchased in September 2019.

Burns excessive oil under normal driving conditions and constantly adding oil. In addition the check oil and/or check engine warning lights do not come. Several occasions have found it bone dry.

The infotainment system started going bad after owning the vehicle within 2 weeks. When the vehicle is in motion the radio went out with a static sound and complete system blacked out with "network communication error" and restarted while car is in motion and this started repeating on the drive. I took it to the dealer and they said they fixed the problem by rerouting the electrical harness. It worked good for another two days it started getting the same error messages and the whole info screen went out for minutes at a time. I hear static sounds and get messages saying radio out and network problems. Honda mentioned it had fixed the error as part of the recalls released recently and had the recalls done and the issue become more frequent and worse, the system gets restarted every few mins. After 3 attempts to the dealer I do not have any success. A clear sign that Honda has no clue how to properly and permanently repair the system.

When we start the engine all the errors come up saying that the vhs failed, the electronics stability failed, brake system failed and all the other components. We have purchased 2 Odyssey and they both have that problems. When we called Honda they told us to repair it as it was our fault. After few starts it goes away. We went to our mechanic and they reset the codes and it has gone away for now but there is an on going issue with the Odyssey. So Honda has recalled the pilot but not the Mini van. Same problems.

We started taking our 2019 Honda Odyssey to the dealership in Nov 2019 on radio/speaker issues. The same problems still persist after a handful of attempts at fixing with newer parts. This is becoming very frustrating as a consumer, especially after multiple attempts at a solution. We have owned multiple new Honda�s, and quite a few used ones. We have several videos of it going off and on while driving, sitting still, hitting a bump etc. Now it's to the point where it won't even come on at all when you start the vehicle.

Steering is stiff and hard to turn in slow driving while parking or turning. Vsa sign is always on.

Vehicle affected is a 2008 Honda Odyssey. While driving various speeds, the abs would erroneously activate and caused the vehicle to suddenly decelerate. During the failure, the vehicle stability control warning indicator illuminated. The if coming to a complete stop, auto would not go into gear when accelerator pressed. Worked better in d2, still having same issues. And reverse not working at all. Burning smell like that of rubber. Battery light was also on, had not been on before. VIN# is 5fnrl386x8b063676. Odyssey 2006 3. 5 has transmission problems. Torque converter needs replacing. When driving there is hardly any acceleration when you apply gas. Catalytic converter and gaskets are faulty. Ignition coil needs replacing before its time. And there is an issue with purge valve that mixes the fuel while driving.

My passenger doors stopped opening by button and handle, turning signals, brights, dash signals, windshield wipers, door locks, horn. All stop working whenever the car feels like it and more then a couple don't work at same time. Driver side passenger seatbelt doesnt stay tight for my daughters car seat abd unable to use other seat as that door doesnt work at all anymore. The steering is also very difficult when turning into a parking spot to the point that I have to use all strength from both arms to pull the wheel into the direction I need the car to go.

When I got into the car, I had just started the car up and there were warning lights for the blind spot information system not working; other things that weren't working were the heated seats or the rear climate controls. Later that day, the backup camera screen was black. This is unacceptable for my 2018 touring that is almost 50k!.

Electrical issues: after driving vehicle for 2 � 5 minutes, entertainment system, rear entertainment screen and parking sensors stop working. The speakers make loud popping sound that will not go away even when you try to power off radio/entertainment system. Turning the vehicle off was the only way to stop the sound. Once restarted, everything would work for 2 � 5 minutes and the same thing would happen. The speakers popping were very loud and distracting, screen with backup camera and parking sensors stopped working making the vehicle not drivable.

I have been increasingly concerned with the automatic brake feature, which activates at times in a surprise. It is too "touchy" in slow city traffic, and I am afraid that I can get rear-ended if/when it activates. Nothing has happened yet. The worst problem is when traveling on a two-lane highway with speed limits in the range of 45-55 mph. When the road is turning to the right, the sensor will pick up oncoming traffic (because it sees the oncoming car as in my line of travel) and put on the brake. This is very unsafe, and I almost lost control on one occasion. I have since learned I can turn this feature off, but it reactivates every time the car is restarted. Thus I have to remember always to turn off the feature when I restart the car. This is annoying, and can still lead to a problem if I forget to turn it off. The most frightening experience was on/about August 7, 2019. I was traveling south on u. S. 31 about 15 miles south of charlevoix, mi. The highway curved to the right, and suddenly the automatic brake deployed as an oncoming car approached. My speed was ~55mph (the speed limit) and I believe the oncoming car was doing the same. The sudden action of the automatic brake feature really surprised me, and I was fortunate to maintain control of the car. This so-called safety feature is more help than I need. Please tell car companies not to add this feature. If they feel they must do it, please require a permanent shut-off feature.

While traveling at highway speed on the highway, the dashboard (including not but limited to speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, current gear, etc) went complete off momentarily and then restarted itself. After the dashboard came back, the dashboard flashed an error like "accident avoidance system problem" for a few seconds and then the system functions normally until it happened again. This has happened 3 times in the last 4 days. I couldn't get a picture of the issue due to the fact that it happened randomly with no clear indication that it was about to happen.

The fuses keep having to be replaced because when it transitions from eco to regular the car stutters and the engine light comes on and starts blinking. I then have to turn off the car and restart it. The car only goes up to like 20mph the slowly increases then decreases again the light comes back on. This began happening about 6 months ago but maybe a little bit beforehand. . . Not exactly sure of the exact date. The first time it happened I was driving to work.

After a week of driving a brand new Honda Odyssey 2019, with 177 mileage, the car had transmission problems, blind spot info system problem, and emission system problem. As I was exiting the freeway, I noticed the car was not accelerating when I pushed the gas pedal. When the gas pedal was pushed, I saw the rpm increased to 5000-6000r/min and I heard loud vroom noise coming our from my car. While the car still had some momentum right off the freeway, I made two right turn and came to a complete stop at the stop sign near my apartment. This incident happened at around 8:30pm, and other cars had to drive around us. My wife and two toddlers were in the car with me. We were very frightened by this incident as we could not believe an engine/transmission failure can happened to a brand new Honda car with only 177 mileage.

I have spent over $4000 in repair costs and my car just shut down completely and will not start. I have had to have my car towed three times once to Honda dealership and twice to a repair shop. All this msoney spent and car still doesn't work right, now it just stopped working completely. All lights on dashboard start flickering then car starts stopping itself while all lights go crazy. Car starts stalling itself while I'm driving making it extremly unpridictable and unsafe. Car has gotten so hot that it melted a new battery that needed to be replaced along with alternator. Still after all this still not working right all the electricals go crazy brakes, locks and everything else now car has completely stopped. Yet no one can find out what's wrong. It has happened on road and on highway very unpridictable. Curtis Honda in milford had my car for 4 days couldn't find anything yet it stalled and stopped on me only a day after picking it up from milford dealership. They could not find or would not find why. All lights go crazy and stop shut off my vehichle. After all this vehicle started I drove it around town all of a sudden all lights started going crazy and started stopping on it's own until it completly died.

Van randomly slammed on the brakes, with nobody in front of me, while I was going 75mph on the highway. Van will sporadically not accelerate when pressing gas pedal, then slowing start to move but not fast enough to pull into traffic on city street, causing me to almost be t-boned 5 times then decide to start rapidly accelerate and make me fish tail. After putting vehicle in park, it rolls 6"-12" (depending on incline). Too many tech issues to list (rear backup camera stops working while in use, audio will turn off an not turn back on while driving, navigation has been "loading" for months, etc).

The infotainment system which controls everything in the vehicle constantly frozen and crashed. All, safety features including the backup camera disabled and couldn't be adjusted because of the system deem the vehicle was in motion even it wasn't. Worst, there is no way to reset or turn off the vehicle without visiting a dealer. Many drivers that I knew of are constantly forced to fix the system while driving. This creates serious safety issues for the public safety.

Entire dash turned off while driving including speedometer and information screen-replaced radiohead. All warning lights came on while driving-replaced fuel injectors. Popcorn sound and warning light came on while driving after picking up car from getting fuel injectors replaced-stating it's a bad rear entertainment system. I bought my car 1 year ago and it's obviously flawed.

Getting keyless start system problem on Honda Odyssey 2018 model. Delar reset code, warning came back again in 5 days.

A vsa with a triangle warning sign is on in my dashboard, I scare the abs brakes will not work properly and it doesn't work the vsa switch on the left side of the dash neither to switch on or off, I check tires and looks ok the pressure of each, is any recall about this problem with this Honda odissey '07?.

All the sudden since l~2 weeks, my car have solid vsa sign on dash board that stays on all the time. . . . . I shaw recall on the year model but my car is not included. . . . I need to know what's going on?. . . . As of now my car runs ok-no issues. . . .

While driving my 2007 model Honda odessey, on June 5th 2018 without any warning signs, vehicle shut off, dash went off. Tried to apply brake, it didn't work. Somehow managed to put the park gear to pull over to a left turn line to avoid collision with other vehicles on the road. 911 was alerted since the vehicle was blocking the left turn line and was not able to even open the door to come out of the van. After few minutes I was able to turn it on and there was no engine sign. No injuries or damage was sustained. I continued driving the van home. After two weeks the engine sign came up and we took it to the Honda authorized dealership. They couldn't find anything wrong which causes this engine shutdown abruptly. They were unable to duplicate the problem. After two days the battery went down. So we replaced the battery with a new one. On July 21, my cousin was driving the van and the same happened again. He pulled over to the side and after few attempts it started again and he rode back and parked at his house. On July 24th, we tried to turn it on but the battery was down. We jump started it on 27th and took it to the same dealership. They kept it doing several tests until July 31st and found nothing wrong with it. They ok'd us to take the vehicle since they couldn't duplicate the issue . We are very much concerned to ride it again fear of safety to our own life and the other innocent fellows on the road. We reported the Honda customer service and they suggested to take it to another dealership. They are not willing to take any responsibility if something happens when we drive the van. We searched online and found few others has reported the same kind of incidents for the same model but different year. I am requesting NHTSA investigate on this issue and give your recommendations.

Sporadically while driving, instrument lights all come and soon after car will just stop running, sometimes lights will just stay on. So far its at low speeds, on take off or coming to a stop. If I let the car sit a few minutes I can restart it. This happened several times. Took it to Honda and couldn't find problem. From going on line I see that this was a common problem. After peoples many replacement parts it was finally isolated mostly to replacement of a part in the ignition switch assembly. Some were a fracture in alternator bracket, or oem distributor assembly (igniter switch module) if it has one or a sensor if not a distributor. All repairs were done on various years and models of Honda's but all having identical symptoms.

Sliding door with not latch and battier does not charge.

The brakes are getting lower even with a full reservoir. After Honda dealer flushed, blead and restored the brake fluid, the vsa module failed and caused autonomous braking and worsening of pedal softening and braking control assist. This issue has been recalled with previous years and should be addressed again by NHTSA and Honda. Brakes came on while driving causing burning up of pads and rotors. Very bad smell coming from brake area.

My backup camera does not function or cannot be viewed due to error messages, system freezing, camera errors which is unsafe. The radio is effected and the hvac controls, too. This happens randomly while driving, when starting the car as well. I have rear windows that will not roll up, which is unsafe. Wipers also do not function correctly. They wipe too slow or too fast and cannot be controlled, which is unsafe. These conditions have happened since vehicle was new and continue to happen. Honda does not have a fix for this.

The vsa control went out which is a $1500. 00 repair. The Honda Odyssey has been recalled overseas but not in the u. S. I called Honda and they only gave me a 25% discount on the part. Even though this model has been identified as a recall. Surprised at Honda.

This car Honda oddesey 2016 model have issue with the battery capacity, this battery is not a nuff strong to hold any system raning for more then 5 minuts,in this case you will not be available to start your engeen again.

Car will only run from 3 to 8 days. Then has to jumped off. New battery. Alternator and battery checked no problem. I think it might be the fuse boxes or something electrical. Vehicle is stationary.
