I was involved in a traffic collision on December 15, 2023. The California dmv requires a brake and light inspection for a salvage retention reregistration of my car. After going to two brake and light shops they will not perform a brake and light inspection due to a recall p30 04v-176. I went to a Honda dealer to get the recall fixed and they said they cannot or will not perform the recall as it is not needed. Please let me know what I can do to fix this issue as I don’t see what and why the brake and light inspections cannot be done and I need them completed.

While driving at various speeds, my vehicle will intermittently brake without warning on its own. The brake warning symbol will flash on the instrument panel and the steering wheel shakes. The surprise and unexpected braking caused me alarm as well as my passengers who did not understand why the vehicle suddenly braked for no apparent reason. I have experienced this multiple times while driving. Most recently, we were exiting the freeway and moved into the exit lane. There was no car directly in front of me but the car suddenly braked scaring us all.

The air bag light is on and the tire pressure sensor on.

Good morning, on Monday, September 19, 2022. I talked with chris from Honda. Com. He told me to take the vehicle back to the same repair dealership where I had issues with repairing the vehicle. I said trusting them is hard for me because they had the vehicle 3 different times and the airbags and vehicle are still not repaired. Chris told me " I will call you back later, by the end of this week". As of yet, I have not heard back from chris at Honda. Com thank you. John phillips. Ps. Receipts were previously submitted.

Issues: 1. The malfunction was a heavy grinding noise from the rear of the vehicle on the passenger side. 2. Also, the recall status was incomplete. 3. The repair dealership inspected the vehicle. 4. No warning lamps or anything appears. 5. The vehicle issues information was sent to Honda. Com on August 9, 2022.

I wish to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing safety issues with the car I purchased in December 2022. Since April of the following year, I have repeatedly experienced heightened noise and vibration originating from the rear wheels. Despite numerous visits to the Honda 385 dealership and their assurance that they have documented and forwarded the concerns to Honda representatives for review, resolution has remained elusive. Regrettably, after an extended period of waiting, I was informed on February 26th, 2024, that the issue has been declined. This decision is profoundly troubling, particularly considering the potential safety implications. It is evident that a new car exhibiting such significant damage to the wheels, accompanied by pronounced noise and vibration, poses a serious safety hazard, especially during highway driving conditions. The persistent nature of these issues underscores the urgency of addressing them promptly and comprehensively. As a conscientious consumer, I cannot in good faith continue to operate a vehicle that may compromise the safety of myself, passengers, and other road users. I implore Honda and the dealership to prioritize the resolution of this matter with the utmost urgency, ensuring that the vehicle is restored to a safe and reliable condition. Furthermore, I urge for a thorough reevaluation of the safety concerns raised, recognizing the paramount importance of ensuring the integrity and reliability of the vehicles entrusted to consumers. It is my sincere hope that swift action will be taken to rectify these safety issues and restore confidence in the vehicle's performance and reliability.

When echo light on the ban vibrate the mechanic said it's the rear motor mount.

Driver side rear tire blowout about a mile from home at approximately 30 mph while slowing to make a right hand turn. The bridgestone turanza 235/60r18 103h is the exact model and size as a manufacturing lot that had already been recalled for a slow leak hazard. My failed tire's lot number is dot 7x45 jb2 0521. A high speed failure could have easily resulted in an accident or a damaged vehicle. The failure point on my tire was at the exact failure point as described in the their recall. I took the tire to the bridgestone local store where the on duty manager described the failure as simply a cut tire. I then again contacted bridgestone cutomer service who did not have any interest in bringing it to their factory for inspection by qualified engineers. The failed tire is available for inspection. Seconds before the blowout I got a warning light alert.

When applying the brake fro my 2012 Honda Odyssey I feel my steering shaking that may cause an issue while driving on freeway. I have done the wheel balancing on new tires again too. . . But still I fee the same.

Tires prurchased from walmart 10/6/18 were installed improperly and they changed the manufactures calibration. The tpms light came on, I returned the van to walmart; they never fixed the problem and I made five visits. The manager did not know what a tpms sensor was; did not have any in the shop. I frequently had the air pressure in the tire checks. Two weeks ago, driving the van the tires seemed to be wobbly, I had the air pressure checked again and again. On April 15, 2021, I filed a complaint with walmart at the main office and took the SUV to the hammond, indiana car center. After haggling with the staff fo over 4 hours, they replaced the two tire. The problem of the wobbling tires had not been solved. Only the wobbling was less noticeable. I made over 20 telephone calls to the car center without the phone being answered. Today I filed another complaint with walmart headquarters. Martha, the person that took the complaint stated that I would be contacted by the car center. This center should be closed; lives are at stack and the workers are rude and are not following the tread act. I never experienced the tpms coming on until walmart replaced my tires. My mechanic drive the SUV and his observation was "the front tires are out of round by 1/4 inch and inner side wall bulging". His first observation was in October 2018, shortly after walmart installed the tires. On 4/15/21, I contacted goodyear and they gave no information on tpms . I do not feel safe driving this SUV ad I believe that walmart is violating the tread act. They reluctantly replaced the tires, but even worse the tpms light is still on. There were no notifications posted on the walls in that car center. In addition, my son recently purchased tires for his SUV from this same walmart he was not given any information about tpms sensors and none were installed.

Break push automatic without my pushing,stearing hard toward one side and may be leaking,colour pills,power door actuator latch problem,pipe under engine look rotten. Transmissionn noise. During driving,car break peddle work and not in my control. Pax tyre one out of 4 has lost surface,thread of michelin pax tyre and in warrantee and michelin asked to go to Honda dealer only and only as they only solve pax tyre problem. Turning vehicle in slow speed is very hard though power stearing and noise come from power door front left driver side actuator. Recall was for this car Honda odessey 2007 but now web say no recall or 0 recall. I want Honda to help fix all problem as a courtesy. Tpms warning light (error) came on, even though all tire pressures were exactly as specified by Honda. When the tpms error occurs, the vehicle stability control cannot be turned off, and my vehicle could not move from a small snowbank (February 2020. ) my older 2006 Odyssey's stability control was not affected by any tpms errors since it didn't have the system, so I could turn off the stability control and easily drive out of slippery or snowy areas. I live in maine and this problem causes potentially serious issues (being stuck in snow that is normally easy to navigate in when vehicle stability control is off. ) there were two specific instances I can recall: 1) my vehicle was parked on the side of the road, with the right-side tires 3-4 inches into the snowbank; 2) my vehicle was parked in a gravel parking lot with some ice underneath. This problem could lead to a dangerous situation when there is any traffic and I need to push or shovel the car out, which would not be needed if I could simply turn off the vehicle stability control so power could be transmitted to all four tires in this instance. "locking out" the vsc because of a tpms error (not because of low air pressure) can cause a dangerous situation in maine. Note: date of Feb 8, 2020 is approximate for one incident (parking area), can't remember the other incident's date.

Purchased 2012 Honda Odyssey with 49k miles, looked like new inside and out, dealership prepped vehicle, including new tires, a few minor repairs were needed, requested everything be gone over, vehicle safety was a priority. I gave them an additional month to order parts and to take their time to make sure all was completed properly. Discovered the new all season tires were really dedicated michelin winter tires as I am driving all summer, highway interstate. They didn't replace the corroded, leaking tpms senor/valve stems, they left the original ones in. While on an out of state trip, the pressure warning light came on. Also discovered the(2) safety latch recalls from Honda were still open as I am driving my kids and other students in our van. The dealership salesman ensured me all would be taken care of as he had children himself. He was sending the vehicle to a Honda dealership for the key cylinder replacement. Turns out the vehicle had 3 open recalls. Non repaired and they assured me they had been fixed. They marketed the van as a local trade in, later to find out the dealership purchased the van at an out of state auction. I had to put new all season tires on and replaced the leaking tpms units, they refused to acknowledge the issues as I had repairs completed at a Honda dealership and Subaru reimbursed me for the small repairs, but refused to acknowledge the tires or tpms units, dismissing additional questions. There is no love or safety at this Subaru dealership . All documentation has been filed with the ohio attorney general complaint. A big question is about the vehicles history from an auction and what else has been covered up and not disclosed.

On November 11, 2019, I sent my Honda Odyssey to a Honda dealer for maintenance. Everything went normally. After the maintenance, I drove my car back home. Every day, I go to work and work normally. About 10 days after the maintenance, the engine light suddenly turns on. After the car was turned on, the engine lights returned to normal. Every day when I went to work, I found that there was a pool at the bottom of the front of the car. I wonder if it was water or oil? I didn't care too much just after finishing the maintenance. In the state of the car, I drove it for another week. At the end, the engine light made a sound and I checked that my engine oil was almost gone. It's hard to believe. The engine oil that I just finished maintenance was gone within 20 days. This is too scary. The engine ran out of oil. I had driven for so many days. It's just killing. I returned the car to a Honda dealer for inspection, but just helped me fill up the engine oil without any explanation. This way I can't accept it. Please help me defend my rights. What causes the loss of engine oil? find out later I'm afraid I'll die. At present, the right rear tire of the car shows that the air pressure is not enough. I checked that the tires are not piercing, and I also performed a lot of air refills, which did not work. It should show that the air pressure is insufficient. Thank you for auditing my issue to help me complete my rights. Now I think that the engine is scared without oil.

Low pitched rumbling sound from front wheel well when car is moving between 5-25 mph.

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Honda Odyssey. While making a turn, the vehicle decelerated and the check vsa indicator illuminated. The contact received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 13v500000 (electrical system). The vehicle was taken to regal Honda (863-808-1289, located at 2615 lakeland hills blvd, lakeland, FL 33805) where the recall repair was performed; however, the failure recurred. The contact took the vehicle back to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle needed an alignment. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 212,901.

The inner tire rod unthreaded from the outer tire rod in the from passenger tire and locked my right tire disabling the car.

Frist the check engine light came on I took it to Honda what came out of that visit was a repare bill of over 4400 00 dollars then it came back on after 3wks. Now it is this tapping sound from the engine. All on the city street.

Front passenger side tire blew out unexpectedly while sitting at a stop light. Sidewall blew a large square hole, seperating from bead. Tires had approximately 30,000 miles on them.

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Honda Odyssey. Each time the vehicle was driven, it pulled to the left. The failure occurred numerous times. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to dch Honda of nanuet (10 NY-304, nanuet, NY 10954, (845) 367-4380) where a wheel alignment, tire balance, and air pressure check were completed, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where they re-tested the wheel alignment and test drove the vehicle, but could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 09153138. The approximate failure mileage was 26,142.

When your driving around 60 to 70 front end starts shaking, vibrating when you let off the gas peddle it stops but when you accelerate it starts again I have read many post of the same issue I have replaced all wheels and same thing is happing.

The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the left front and left rear tire experienced tread separation. In addition, the front left and rear left tires became completely flat in a period of ten days thereafter. A dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware the failure. Metal valve stem cap were installed on tires when I got my car brand new. Yesterday I tried to open the cap for refill, they are unable to open due to corroded metal. I believe this is due to manufacturer defect. I believe opening up a tire valve cap should be easy, but found it impossible. I did not want to break the valve or damage myself. I am forced to drive on tires not properly inflated.

In June of this year my wife took her van in for tpms lite being on. Was told the the tire valve nut holding it to the wheel had come loose and replaced the entire valve, nut, and washer. Also told by the service advisor that they see a lot of these was a common happening. This month December 2017 she took it again for the tpms lite came on again. As before they replaced assembly she paid her bill and left. Here's my concern for her safety as well as mine. If traveling at a high speed and this nut came loose the lite would come on, but if valve came totally loose and tire overheated and blew out wouldn't this be a safety concern? most of this was overnight once and then driving it once.

My wife's Honda Odyssey, while crossing/turning a city road at a low speed, was hit (obvious from approximately 90 degree angle) near the front by a volkswagon beetle turbo moving at 35 miles or less per hour. Apparently, all the front airbags (the driver and passenger side all airbags) of the Odyssey were apparently explosively deployed destroying almost the entire front upper inside of the vehicle. We suspect the airbags (we do not know but they might be faulty takara airbags) might have prematurely deployed given the low speeds of the vehicles before the crash and minimal visible body damages. After the accident, volkswagon was perfectly driveable with very minimum visible damage to its front and was driven away without doubt. Please investigate whether the Odyssey air bags or any other manufacturing defects were at play during this accident. The Odyssey is currently at a bodyshop in virginia beach, va. Insurance agency has decided to total the vehicle apparently principally due to extensive cost of replacing all the airbags and related damages. I am the owner of the Odyssey. Attached are two photos. Your prompt response and action will be highly appreciated.

I was driving (in motion) on slippery, wet, but icy roads in town. I was only going about 20 mph. Twice, I had to stop slightly faster than I normally would have, but when I started tapping the brakes to slow down and stop, they felt like they locked up on me and it took awhile before I was able to have any "brake" feeling at all! the wheel walls, I noticed later have small space between tire and wheel wall, causing snow build-up, which may have caused a problem in the braking ability also. After this happened a couple more times throughout the week, my brake sensor light warning came on and has stayed on now. But, after I took my vehicle to the car wash and got all the ice out of the wheel wells, the brakes are working fine and smooth stopping, still icy conditions on the road. I think the wheel walls don't have enough room between the tires and wheel walls. In icy conditions, it seems to be putting dangerous pressure on my brake system, when in motion applying the brakes. I was driving straight on a road when all the above occurred.

Not sure of recalls but what I fo know is danbury auto of danbury CT. Sold me this Mini van at tge rnd of novrmber 2017 almodt immediately I needed power steering pump which bn I replaced in the process I had a diagnostic test done at Honda of hartford CT. Which thry told me th as t I had a rack and pinion leak they slso told thisis a problem for this van a week later my my driver side passenger side sliding door stop working also my passenger side back sliding door was partially working which I feel is hazardous if you are in a accident I went to a couple places they couldnt fix it each one said this is a problem has been a bad problem for the 2004-2010 models then I contacted dealership they also said the same thing I asked about replacing rollers and motof they told me its a deeper issue dont wate your money on it ! I just dont see how this issue wasnt on recall ehen its clearly dangerous and its thousands of complaints on this issue I nought this for me and my grandkids and every since I bought I havent been able to have them ride but once because li dont want them trapped in a emergency !!also the driver s iy DE axle needs replaced I found that this is also a issue with the axles as well bascially this van has many issues thst had sufficient complaints and concern thst can result in death that was addressed and I dont understand why although ni realize all automobiles has issues but these are bad and life threatening being trapped in a car or having to drive hit a bump and tire brakes off.

The whole van started vibrating ad shaking like the van was going to come apart. I checked on the NHTSA reports and a lot of this is happening. Some dealers are saying different things and Honda is not doing anything about it. It seems like the disks are to small for the weight. 1 person had racing disk and brakes put on and no problem. Other people had the brakes redone by Honda and about a few thousand miles the same thing happened. Check to see what people are saying on your web sight. ( not safe for us ) . I knew a while back Honda always had problems with the rotors. But, I thought they fixed that by now. Please do something. I just turned 40,000 miles. After 6 years. All other service has been good.

Vehicle had charging system light go on (battery light). Battery was not charging and there was a noise near the alternator. Next day, light goes off, battery is charging now, no noise. Two days and 40 miles later, no other lights and no other noise. Vehicle enters highway, makes it about 3 miles when the cruise control shuts off. All lights on the dash come on and shut off. Driver pulls over, starts to see smoke coming out from under the hood. Keeps hood shut and waits for emergency services to arrive on scene. Engine goes up in flames, all seats are burned up, windows blown out, front tires melt. Total loss.

First tire failed at 23k miles in Aug 2017 at highway speed during vacation. Second tire failed at 28k miles in Dec 2017 in local traffic. Third tire failed at 28k miles in Jan 2018 in local traffic.
