One problem related to ignition module has been reported for the 1998 Honda Passport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Would either be waiting at stop sign/light when vehicle, for no reason, would shut down. Vehicle can be restarted. Had taken vehicle to dealership, and was informed by mechanic that ecm would need to be updated along with fuel sending unit.
