The contact owns a 2019 Honda Passport equipped with continental tires, tire line: cross contact lx 25 tire size : 245/50/r20, dot number : unknown. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the front passenger tire would vibrate and they also noted that the tire would gradually lose air. The contact stated that they took their vehicle to an independent mechanic where he had all tires rebalanced and realigned, the contact also stated that he had the front tires moved to the rear. However the problem persisted. The tires that presented the issue are original equipment, however the contact has had all of the tires replaced. The failure mileage of the tires and vehicle was 32,000 the contact also stated that they believe NHTSA campaign number 21v165000 (tires) is likely probable cause for the failure of their tires.
I have a 2019 Passport with 12,000 miles and with continental tires. The front tires are coming apart with chunks of the tires coming off.
