Steering wheel makes clicking noises at low speeds when turning. Dealership was able to replicate the noise and diagnosed as bad coil reel. The coil reel was replaced and the problem persists. Informed by dealer that there’s nothing more they can do.

Breaking and steering wheel malfunction causing accident on December 20th 2024. Car is currently still at dealership for investigation. My safety was at risk, causing injury to shoulder. Not sure if problem has been reproduced, not confirmed by dealership as of yet. Police reported, insurance company only fix damage, then vehicle was towed back to dealership for inspection, after being repaired in a different shop. Was called back by dealership to have additional inspection done and was told that my car was going to be refurbished. Issues started once my car had hit 10,000 miles, after my first vehicle maintenance expectation. Received multiple systems warning lights, information dealership multiple times and nothing was done until after the accident still have no car til this day 5/14/25.

The vehicle pulls to the right and the steering is loose. The vehicle has only 20000 miles on it and this was not how it was originally delivered but developed over a short time. The dealer said they find nothing wrong but I know that is not a correct assesment but a method of the dealer not to either fix it or they do not have a method to correct this problem. There are many instances of this same problem on Honda vehicles with electric power steering on the internet sites. I simply want them to address a safety issue which appears to be fairly common.
On my way to work I was on the highway and five warning lights came on out of no where. All five warnings were the safety assist systems had problems. I drove to the Honda dealership and found out it was my microchip for my Honda, the main microchip for all of the safety and system controls were dead/bad and that it would need to be replace. I was told by the service manager that without the micro chip the vehicle would no longer be drivable as it controls power steering system, brakes system, lane departures, etc. If I would have ignored those warning lights, all of those systems all systems would have failed putting my life at risk and others in their vehicles as well . My vehicle was bought with 3 miles on the speedometer and was only 2 years old at the time of this occurrence.

After turning a corner steering locked and unable to steer car . Wrecked.
Forward collision warning (fcw): at random intervals, the fcw will give a false positive warning of an imminent collision with a car approaching from the opposite direction. This has occurred at various times over the past 2+ years. Comments to this effect to the Honda service representatives have indicated that this anomaly has been reported previously. They have not provided a fix or software update to correct this issue. The event is a safety issue because of the distraction from focusing on the road ahead. Although the automatic braking system has not been employed, the driver may in response to the false warning apply the brakes and cause an accident inadvertently.
Hello I've had my 2021 Passport awd for only a week and have noticed it pulls noticeably to the right. This even happens when " the lane keep assist" is switched off. It is a constant struggle to keep it from drifting into the right lane and other cars. This happens on all types of roads but is most noticeable of highways. The pull is so strong that it makes the lane keep assist system (lkas) unusable. When using lkas on cruise control the vehicle keeps drifting into the shoulder of the road and even crosses the line. I went to the NHTSA. Gov website and found that Honda is aware of this issue on the 2019 Passport (off-center steering /pulling) and has sent communications about it's investigation to it's dealerships. The alignment being off on a factory car that is built for off-roading is highly irregular. For comparison, my Honda hr-v which I had for 3'years has never had any alignment issues. .
Tl the contact owns a 2000 Honda Passport. The contact stated that the check engine and transmission warning indicators were constantly illuminated. While driving various speeds and attempting to turn right or left, it required the contact to use extra effort to maneuver the vehicle. Additionally, there was smoke coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission, catalytic converter, and steering assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 139,000.

The engine and transmission light came on and have been flashing, while I was on the street, then the steering wheel does not turn smoothly and the car produces noise when turning to the left or right or reversing. And while running, it produces smoke.
I was driving on the highway at 65mph. All of a sudden the vehicle started to slow down at a very fast rate cutting my speed in half. 2 errors appeared on the dashboard. "transmission problem, apply parking brake when parked. " and "blind spot info system problem. " luckily I was able to pull over just in the right time, but the vehicle was starting to get very hard to control while steering as this was all happening. The vehicle started to control me meaning j almost couldn't steer it where it needed to go and I could not accelerate at all on the highway. The vehicle kept slowing down. I was on the shoulder of the highway around a sharp turn and I was terrified that someone would slam right into me. It took a tow truck 1 hour to arrive. The dealer has never heard of this issue before. I'm waiting to hear back from them as they still have m vehicle. Wilde Honda waukesha, WI.

Rear trailing arm fell off of the frame due to major corrosion. We had it towed to dealership for recall #10v-436. Service dept stated the entire frame was rusted through therefore they had nothing to attach the recall bracket to. This recall should be for the entire frame not just the bracket. It broke while backing out of our driveway. Thankfully we weren't doing 70 on the highway.
