2 Tire Blowout problem of the 1998 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 01/27/2001

While traveling on interstate 81, the right, rear tire had a blowout. It was found that the inside of the tire had extensive peeling around the entire side, exposing threads, etc. There was enough loose tire debris to overfill a cup inside the tire. 3 Tire Blowout problem of the 1999 Honda Passport

Failure Date: 09/04/2000

There was a noise, thern about ten seconds after the tire blew. The tread came completely off, with the side walls about 50% intact. The tread was still completely intact and retained its shape. ( dot number: tire size: p245/70r1s ).
