1 Ignition Switch problem

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph the vehicle suddenly shut off and would not restart. During the incident the ignition key warning had displayed. The contact removed the key from the ignition switch and inserted the spear key and the vehicle operated as normal. The local dealer (unknown) was notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the battery faulty. After replacing the battery inside the key the key operated as normal. The manufacturer was notified. Of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,000. Jft.
