Warnings problems of the 2022 Honda Pilot

The foreward collision warning is too sensitive and the alert message and steering wheel shaking are distracting. Especially driving on a two lane road, the forward collision messages occurs under normal driving situations. Simply a vehicle approaching in their lane in the opposite direction triggers the warning. You get a large orange box popping up on the dash screen which diverts your attention from the road to the screen. It's an obnoxious panic message. Also, the steering wheel shakes to alert you, which startles you. I fear the mechanism could malfunction and take over steering and cause an accident. I know how to drive and I don't need the absurd "assistance". I submitted another report for the auto idle problem. These driver assist things are horrid. They don't enhance the driving experience and seem to be items that unnecessarily tack on to the cost of purchasing a vehicle. We have complained to the Honda dealer and car mechanics about these matters. Regarding forward collision warning, no resolution was provided. This is an ongoing problem and so an approximate date below is not applicable. Thank you thank you.

Radar camera went out shutting off all safety features lkas, power steering , collision control, power breaks etc.

Vehicle warning lights randomly appeared on dash adaptive cruise control vehicle stability assist hill start assist trailer stability assist collision mitigation system assist departure mitigation.

When I make complete stops vehicle shuts off and it’s creating dangerous conditions while waiting to turn left or at traffic stops. It happens almost every day.

All of the following lights came while driving on and have stay on. Lane keep assist adaptive cruise control collision mitigation. After some research, this looks to be a know problem for Honda.

For the past year and a half, I have had issues with the forward collision warning and emergency braking systems. I get false warnings to "brake" when there are no other cars around. I have also had the car brake for no reason - one time, we were on the interstate, the emergency braking system engaged and it pulled us to the side of the road. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership numerous times and they cannot get it to reproduce. It happens sporadically and there isn't anything I can do to reproduce the issue either. I fear this will happen when a car is too close, or, living in wisconsin, that the brakes will engage when driving on snow and/or ice. It has happened at 10 mph up to 75 mph.

When driving on highways and interstate the vehicle flashes brake when the is no reason to brake. This happens multiple times per day, in my commute. The 2nd thing (and most dangerous) is the automatic braking. Several times on the interstate the car has done a hard brake while travelling at high speeds, only there wasn’t a reason for it no other vehicles were in front of us at the time. It has also happened several times on the state road that we drive daily. It’s not. I have contacted Honda and have note heard back as of yet. This is a very dangerous and possibly fatal flaw. The issue is definitely ongoing.
