Failure Date: 02/11/2026

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated that while starting and driving the vehicle, the driver became aware that the engine was knocking. The vehicle was driven to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the failure was associated with NHTSA campaign number: 23v751000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.

2 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 09/19/2024

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, there was an abnormal sound and shaking coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the timing belt needed to be replaced. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 23v751000 (engine and engine cooling). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.
