1 Suspension Noise problem of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline

Failure Date: 07/21/2017

Truck has a very noticeable clunking sound in front of vehicle when going over bumps. Sound started around 1500 miles. Dealer said is was most likely the brake pads as there is a TSB out. They didn't bother to check and see if the struts were defective. This new truck sounds like it has 100,000 miles on it. I'm very concerned about the safety of this vehicle with these types of noises coming from the suspension/brakes.

2 Suspension Noise problem of the 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Failure Date: 07/01/2011

Passenger side rear strut was replaced approximately 98,000 miles due to leakage and noise. Replaced with oem part. Same noise reoccured at approximately 115,000 miles. Still making the noise. Both sway bar end links were replaced, with oem parts, due to squeaking noise. Driver's side rear suspension now makes loud clicking noise when going over bumps. Rack and pinion needs to be replaced, bad bushings causing loud thunking noises. Inner tie rod end has failed, and presented a significant safety issue.
