Two problems related to front suspension strut have been reported for the 1996 Hyundai Accent. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer received recall notice 98v245000 concerning front coil spring. The driver took vehicle to the dealership, and mechanic told consumer that he could not fix it due to the struts being corroded.
Vehicle constantly pulls to the right making it hard to steer. Tires and struts have been replaced, and problem is still there.
