One problem related to transmission gear slipping has been reported for the 1998 Hyundai Accent. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving transmission would keep slipping. Also, engine would keep revving. Rpms would go up while at a stop light/sign or when taking off from a stand still. Vehicle would also hesitate. Engine check light would keep coming on.
