At 35-42 mph there was a front impact and driver was not wearing seatbelt. Both front seatbelts retracted after impact into door mounts to the point of breaking the side mounts. Information provided by officer william elbert. Please add $ amount of damage to vehicle.

Was driving approximately 35mph & started to apply brakes. Had no brakes & rearended another vehicle at stop light. Upon impact with other vehicle, air bags failed to deploy. Also, pretensioner in the seat belts failed to restrain driver whose head hit windshield. Driver was hospitalized.

Two rear seat belts on each side when fully extended will retract and lock, not allowing passengers to move. Needed to realease the belts, and then reset again.
Passenger's side seat belt will lock up, and will not come out, allowing consumer to use. Dealer contacted. Dealer repaired seat belt, and three months later problem still remains. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
