Other Fuel System Tank Assembly Problems of Hyundai Accent

Tl the contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Accent. While driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle ran out of fuel and stalled. The contact indicated that there was no fuel in the fuel tank even though the vehicle was refueled prior to the failure. The vehicle was taken to goshen motors (3220 elcott rd, goshen, in) where it was diagnosed that the fuel system was faulty. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 121,000.

I got this car in 2015 and it keep failing the state of ohio vechicle inspection e-check test and the same code keeps coming up. . . . . P1401. . . . . Why. . . It fail on Jan 16,2019 and in 2017 Jan. 19. 17 I spent $398. 52 and had gas tank filler neck and canister ventvalve replace. . . . . And again same code 2019 "p1401. . Help thks. My cars fuel tank is now giving me problems. When I pull up to the pump get gas the car says its empty but when fueling the car constantly clicks saying its full. I have to keep taking the pump in and out of the car to reseal it then try again and again and most times again. When the gas attendants see what car I own and the trouble I have they say its a known issue with Hyundai's in general and does not matter what model. It's very irritating when I can only get a few dollars at a time because it takes so much time. My brother is a mechanic and said he gets these all the time. There has to be more people complaining about this. Not sure if anyone else has this problem but I did research the database here and did not find any recalls regarding this issue. Thanks, jennifer.

My Hyundai Accent 02 refuses to fuel up continually shutting off at the pump 1/4 gal at best, twenty minutes to fill, took it to the dealership they are well aware of the problem,,, the fumes can not vent properly and forces air back up the filler neck of the gas tank and sprays gas all over. This is not only dangerous to myself but also dangerous to every person in the area. I feel this is a danger to everyone and needs to b addressed.
