2 Tire Sidewall problem of the 2009 Hyundai Accent

Failure Date: 12/25/2011

Oem tires kumho p205 45 16, low pressure tire sensor on dash would light up almost every three months between oil changes 2 times I noticed a tire had lost two thirds of its air overnight no nails or other damage noticed put air back in tire seemed ok. On 12-25-11 two flat tires occurred overnight sidewalls cracked.

3 Tire Sidewall problem of the 2008 Hyundai Accent

Failure Date: 09/29/2008

The contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Accent. The vehicle has kumho tires, size 205/45/r16 (na). While inspecting the tire, the contact noticed an abnormal blister in the sidewall of the driver's side front tire. She took the vehicle to a local tire repair shop and was informed that the tire was unsafe. The tire had to be replaced at the cost of more than $100. The technician also added that the tire still had significant tread wear. She called the manufacturer, but has not received a response. The failure and current mileages were 4,509.
