I was using my mothers car and after parking and returning to the car the ignition key would not turn in either direction, I was told by the dealer that the ignition switch and housing had to be replaced, after research I discovered that this is a common problem for Hyundai and kia cars, I got stranded because the car was unable to be driven and had to be towed to a dealer, ( there are only two keys on the key ring).
