2 Cruise Control problem of the 2007 Hyundai Azera

Failure Date: 12/16/2014

Brakes were loose took to shop told it was master cylinder, went through three master cylinders then the abs, brake warning lights came on the dash panel, lost cruise control. Took to dealer and they said not covered by any recall. It is a question whether the brakes will stop the car in time since we need to go almost to the floor to stop. Dealer said $4,000+ to get it fixed, and it is okay to drive as it is. Who is responsible if a life is lost or property damage occurs? shouldn't a part as significant as the abs module be warranted or relaced?.

3 Cruise Control problem of the 2006 Hyundai Azera

Failure Date: 12/03/2013

While driving in la, CA with speed control set at 65mph I was making a lane change. To allow more room between myself and the following car I accelerated by stepping on the gas pedal. The car speed increased and I removed my foot from the accelerator to return to the set speed. The car did not slow down. I stepped on the brake to #1 take the car off cruise control and #2. To slow down. The car did not slow down and I was now moving at about 80mph. I stepped with my left foot on the brake pedal and tapped the gas pedal. Still the car did not slow down and I had difficulty keeping the speed down by applying the brake. I shut off the ignition and as I was in the fast lane (left) I moved off the lane to bring the car to a stop. This happened three more times while driving in la. On 02/03/14 while driving on i15 I wanted to see if I could duplicate the condition. Again the accelerator got stuck and I had to shut off the motor. I brought the car to the local Hyundai dealer who reported that they could not find anything wrong. As the same thing happened while driving home, I went back to the dealer and on a test drive with a technician the accelerator got stuck again. I need your help and assistance in this matter which is a serious safety issue.

4 Cruise Control problem of the 2007 Hyundai Azera

Failure Date: 03/14/2008

I own a 2007 Azera limited with 14,000. Purchased Aug 2007 first let me say I love this car . . . However !!! this is scary: 2 mths ago I was on an interstate in nh and floored the accelerator "kicked-down) to pass. . . The car accelerated and would not stop accelerating until I shifted to neutral. . . Then it went back to normal rpm. . . I thought my winter floor mat got stuck. . . Moved it and all appeared fine. . Then yesterday it happened again. . . However this time it was on a curvey road in vt with a 45mph speed limit. . . At 70mph. . Shifted to neutral and applied breaks as a big curve was approaching. . This time I know it was not the floor mat . . . During both incidents, cruise control was not activated. Will be taking car to dealer tomorrow 3-17-08.
