Tl the contact owns a 2006 Hyundai Azera. The contact stated that the low beam headlights failed to provide adequate illumination while driving. The contact had to engage the high beam headlights to view the road. Also, when the brake pedal was depressed, the illumination from the low beam headlights dimmed. Furthermore, the instrument panel lighting failed to operate and the gauges could not be viewed. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer and the alternator was replaced, but the vehicle was not repaired. The battery and the low and high beam headlight bulbs were also replaced, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 135,000.
