The ignition is no good and, the car would not turn off. I had to take it to a dealer and, he took fuses out before they could get the car to shut off. They replaced the ignition but the flasher light keep coming on and the the spotter and the dealer did not give me the automatic part of the key. Unable to start car.
Last Jan we had our passenger side visor fall without any manipulation and after taking the vehicle to Hyundai they told us that the screws which are holding them together are rusted. In July 2012 the driver side visor also fell off and we took it to Hyundai and they quoted us $380 just to have it fixed. It was Hyundai who placed unusable and rusted parts in vehicles and later stated that we are out of warranty and would need to furnish the payment for something that we are not at fault for. Also abs light comes up and even after changing all the brake pads and rooters, does not resolve. It is the manufacturing defect which made the visors come off and hang by the wires so why should we be responsible to pay for the manufacturing defects?? please investigate.
Dozens of occurrences 2007 shortly after warranty expired 2009 +, 6000 miles vehicle started down shifting to low gear at speeds from 30 to 70 never consistent,, out of blue, just like stomping on brakes Hyundai lewisville TX, test drove reported no problem wanted several hundred to diagnose same or several thousand to replace, told to kiss off. Total bs, 1 2010 vehicle finaly got consistent and was parked and left sitting as extremely dangerous to operate and paid off on 11/ 2012 still parked read on net caused by short in electrical system to trans mission shifter might add on road its shocking on gravle road causes loss of control and might end up in ditch ( several times, wrong side or sideways spin out further was reported years back with no results to date.
