1 Engine Belts And Pulleys problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2019

The motor started making a clicking noise very faint at first then over time it got louder then the engine light came on we had the car towed to the dealership we purchased the car. We were told that it needed a tear down to determine if the car needed a new engine they did that, then we were told since we were loyal customers had purchased 3 cars from massey and it had 104,000 miles 4 thousand over warranty that Hyundai would probably cover part or all of the cost! we were told that if Hyundai didn't cover the cost that it would cost us a couple of thousand dollars!. . . So we told them to fix the car Hyundai was going to cover some of the cost didn't know how much though! we were never told. . . And we've never been told how much Hyundai covered. The car needed a few minor repairs like the serpentine belt which we needed to pay for but we ended up paying $2300. 00 dollars we have talked to other Hyundai owners that have had similar problems with their engines just wanted to know if there were any recalls for the engine?.
