The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. The contact stated while driving 60 mph there was an obstruction on the road, which was unavoidable. The contact hit the obstruction and immediately the crash light illuminated the instrument panel. The contact experienced a minor injury, but no medical reports were documented. The contact drove safely to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the failure of anti lock brake system and power system steering damages. The contact informed the dealer that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in NHTSA campaign number: 21v160000 components service brakes, hydraulic. The VIN was included however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer has been notified; however, they were not of assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 91,130.
