The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed during a rainstorm, there was water leaking into the interior of the vehicle through the rear windshield. The contact observed mold developing throughout the interior of the vehicle. Later, the contact stated that upon attempting to start the vehicle, there was a fuel odor inside the vehicle. After a visual inspection, the contact observed fuel leaking in the engine compartment. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the fuel rail after observing a crack in the fuel rail. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 152,000.

Have a whitish, grey condensation creeping up about 3" from the lower part of the windshield and also on the driver side door windows, front and back and the rear window. Actually looks like mold. At the dealership, checked out 5 other Genesis, they all had the same problem. No other model of Hyundai's had this problem. This moldy looking condensation/moisture is inside the window itself, not touchable on either side of window. After driving for a while the moldy appearance subsides and the windows appear like double pane windows with a broken seal.
