Hazy film on second row window blinds you when pulling out almost got hit twice because of the sun glaring on the hazy blurry window. The dealer ship is aware of this and said they need to be replace but Hyundai said it was made that way. This is the first year for these kind of windows they are dangerous when trying to see out. When you ride in second row it hurts your eyes because they are so hazy especially on a sunny day everything looks blurry. Needs to be a recall before lot of people has bad wreck and some one loses their life the rest of the windows aren't laminated "if these are really laminated like they say" shouldn't be a problem to exchange them out.
This is the third occurrence since we bought the car new in August of '23. The car will lock all of its doors and we won't be able to get inside. Once we manage to get inside the dash will not display. We can not turn anything on except for the dome lights (which indicate the battery has power, thus not the problem). We have tried jump starting the car on our own with no luck. The first trip to the repair shop, the technician said it was a "multi-fuse" that needed replaced. The second time (after the exact same symptoms and failed home jump start attempts) the technician said that wasn't the case and that they didn't know what caused it. And that we would need to wait for it to happen again and hopefully they could catch it if something did happen. . Well, it happened again. Exact same symptoms. We have young children in car seats and we live in a cold climate. If it is 0 degrees out and it happened again and they were in the car it would be a terrible, fatal thing! we buy new to avoid problems and things like this.
Cannot get either of 2 local kerry dealerships to back with me to schedule an appointment for repair.
We heard a very loud gunshot noise on 2023-10-20 while traveling on the i40 during a weekend road trip. We immediately got off the upcoming exit to inspect the tires for a blowout and other vehicle issues, however no issues were seen. No 18 wheelers or construction vehicles were near us at the time of the event. Later on we kept hearing a rattling sound that was baffling. The shattered moonroof was discovered when the shade was slightly cracked when inspecting the culprit of the rattling noise. I immediately closed the cracked moonroof shade and checked the top of the vehicle to discover a huge hole in the moonroof. Thankfully the sunshade protected us from the shattered glass and no one was hurt. The vehicle was taken to the dealership upon returning home on 2023-10-23 for an inspection and they observed it appeared that the moonroof blew out (up position). The dealership will be covering the replacement of the moonroof under warranty.
When applying the brakes if you hit a bump in the road the front end of the vehicle shakes violently and does not stop, lunges car forward.
1) drivers seat moves while driving. 2) seat positioning failure. Failure causes seat to move back increasing length from pedals. Made it harder to reach the gas and brake pedal. Unsafe to drive while seat in motion. 3) problem was reproduced by dealer. 4) no warning or error messages prior to failure. 5) dealership and tech support unable to fix problem with multiple attempts.
A few weeks ago, I made an appointment to address the recent safety recall concerning the transmission electric oil pump (campaign 246 / NHTSA recall number 23v-526. ) for added clarity – the dealer identified the vehicle, saw that it was part of the recall and scheduled me for an appointment to correct this important safety matter. Today I took the day off from work and this morning I showed up for my appointment 30 minutes early. I surrendered my vehicle and sat at the waiting area. After spending over two hours at the service center, I was informed that they do not have the part(s) needed to complete this recall and that they have only today ordered it. Moreover, in talking to the advisor, he seemed perplexed at my disappointment, claiming that this is their standard operating procedure. Again, I would like to highlight the fact that I lost a day of work. I would now lose an additional day of work once the part(s) is/are in. Per Hyundai’s recall language, this is a serious and somewhat dangerous matter. Lastly, I would think that if the part is not in stock, the service center should have contacted me in advance to delay the appointment. Even if that was not done, it should not take over two hours to discover that the part is missing – a few seconds, yes. Hours no. I am sorry for the tone – however, I am beyond disappointed.
On three separate occasions while driving the car has shut off while driving. The car and dashboard completely shut off, as well as the radio. This is while driving! the car was in drive and then just shut off with no warning or indication. I've taken the car to be seen by a Hyundai mechanic and the car had a starter replacement. Yet, the issue has continued. This has put my safety and the safety of others at risk as the car cuts off mid-traffic. I am no longer able to brake or accelerate. The check-esc message comes up when attempting to restart, but there is no warning or indication that comes on before the vehicle completely shuts down. I feel extremely unsafe. The dealership says it is hard to see codes because this happens mid-drive. Multiple Hyundai owners, specifically 2023 Palisade model owners have posted and reported this issue to corporate.
I have recently received a recall notice from Hyundai USA, stating that my 2023 Hyundai Palisade needs an immediate fix for transmission electric oil pump to avoid potential fire risk. It suggested that I should immediately reach out to the nearest dealer for a part replacement. However, I searched several dealer locations in wa and they do not have any availability within the next 60 days. The closest date I can see now available is at Dec. 11th. , which is 3 months away. This is causing long-lasting concerns.
I received a recall on my vehicle. And it said to park my car until I can get it seen about. I have an appt until oct 2. Will my vehicle be safe to drive until then?.
While driving my two young daughters to school this morning I heard a loud bang which resembled to that of a gunshot as I was driving on my own on the freeway at about 60 mph. I looked around and saw no nearby accidents or even vehicles within a 5 mile radius. Shortly after I could hear a lot of wind noise inside my vehicle, sure enough my panoramic sunroof imploded. This poses a huge safety concern as it had no impact and was of no fault my own. I hate to think about what would’ve happened had the door to the sunroof been open while it imploded, my children would have been greatly injured.
I received a recall almost a year ago. Immediately contacted a Hyundai dealership who kept me on hold for an hour and said they couldn’t fix it or don’t know when someone would be able to. They got my number down and were supposed to call me and never did. I then took my car to the Hyundai dealership in killeen to get the recall fixed and they said they didn’t have the part and couldn’t help me at this time. No one from either dealership has still contacted me!!.
The steering wheel clunks and locks when turning at low speeds or when isg turns the car back on. At times, it is a hard enough jerk to pull it out of my hands. It was taken to the dealership multiple times. The coupler was replaced, but it still jerked the steering wheel. The dealership in utah could not replicate the sound, even though it occurs multiple times a day at this point. Loss of the ability to steer after sitting at a light poses a huge safety issue between not being able to immediately navigate upon accelerating or when turning left at an intersection.
I was just turning right from a stoplight into a store parking lot when I lost power steering & my brakes were ‘difficult’ to push down. I barely got it out of the way of traffic and I turned the car off, got out, opened and closed my door, and got back in and it started back up and drove to the parking spot like nothing had happened. Sensors reset to 0. It happened again 2 stops away while in a drive through. I did the same thing and it started back up ok. It would do this every 2-3 days for 2 weeks. Finally it did it one day, 5-6 times. The day I called the dealership & said that I was afraid my 2023 Palisade was going to literally get me killed on the highway was when the manager was able to get me a loaner vehicle to drive. It’s been in the dealership for over a week. I saw the recall about the loss of power brake assist online and thought this may pertain to my Palisade.
Brand new 2023 Palisade with rear windows hazy, causing poor visibility.
Our sunroof exploded today (may 8, 2023) with no warning while sitting at a red light. Nothing hit the glass. Luckily the shade was pulled closed so no glass fell on us. It was a loud explosion. The car was taken to the dealer, jenkins Hyundai in leesburg FL.
Left home around 520am for work, within 1 mile sunroof exploded. It was approximately 30 degrees outside. I was fortunate because the cover was shut,so no glass hit me. Hyundai has replaced it at no cost. I was told there have been 36 instances and a service bulletin was put out.
Over sensitive abs when going over bums or bumpy roads the breaks get really hard , makes a loud cranking noise and break peddle starts shaking really bad unable to bring the car to a complete stop I’ve taken it in and they said they couldn't mimic that reaction. It feels very unsafe specially when you have little kids in they car.
Rear door windows are hazy, foggy and are a safety issue in both daytime and evening due to poor visibility. Hyundai issued a TSB #23-bd-001h. I am requesting windows be replaced and Hyundai has rejected my request. My case number with Hyundai is #21440910 thanks.
Sunroof exploded while driving.
Windshield and rear windows aren't clear. Very hazy and blurry at nights wind noise coming from passenger side door/window.
Left turn signal will not disengage. Right turn signal and cameras are disabled.
My windshield has cracked two times in a year and a half. I have owned 5 cars and been driving for over 30 years and never had this problem before.
Windshield broke with no reason, no vehicle in front or around vehicle.
The second row windows are not clear and are hazy. It is affecting visibility.
Rear passenger windows cloudy. Defect with the tint inside the window glass restricting visibility especially in sunlight.
2 row windows tint is faulty. It is a white hazy fog between the glass. When sun shines on it sometime you can not see out of. Hazy fog. 3rd row is fine and 1st row also. Many of these Palisades have complained to Hyundai. I have filed complaint with no answers yet. Dealership also is calling Hyundai customer service also.
The back seat windows r very cloudy. When super sunny sometimes hard to see things.
The rear door glass is hazy and hard to see through. When driving you need to view out those windows when merging. This is a safety concern.
Hazy, film-like on back seat windows. Doesn't come off. Looks almost milky it's so hazy.
Our 2023 Palisade caligraphy 2nd row windows have this cloudy distortion on them. My granddaughter can't even sit in the 2nd row because the windows look blurry and make her sick. A lot of people are complaining about this issue. It's definitely a defect in this model and needs to be fixed so I can pay to have my windows tinted.
Passengers window s has a hazy white film problem. Not clear tint. Fault in tint.
