The contact owns a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated while driving 65 mph the contact notice the oil warning light was blanking. The contact checked the oil level and notice that there was no oil in the engine, the contact added more oil to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnoses and the valve cover gasket was replaced and more oil was added to the vehicle. On another occasion the contact checked the oil level and notice there was no oil in the vehicle again. The vehicle was taken to the dealer again and the dealer stated that a consumption test needed to be done. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the mechanic stated that the oil maybe leaking for the exhaust pipe. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and the manufacturer stated that the vehicle needed a consumption test to be done and a case was filed. The failure mileage was 77,600.
