Backed into something at my son's school due to inoperable rear collision sensor, causing damage to the lift gate. There were/are no warning messages. My husband almost hit a car backing out of our driveway due to same issue. We are taking the car to the dealer for inspection.
The reverse camera system did not come on when reversing. It could lead to someone like a child getting hurt if they’re walking behind the vehicle. The problem was reproduced by the dealer and serviced for this issue. They confirmed it was the same problem as the recall.
