Steering Is Tight problems of the 2007 Hyundai Sonata

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the steering wheel was tight and the contact had to apply force upon turning the steering wheel to make a right turn. The vehicle was taken to a independent repair shop who was not able to replicate and diagnose the failure. The contact stated that while traveling 40 mph at a green light, another vehicle crossed the contacts path while making a turn and crashed into the contacts vehicle. The contacts air bags did not deploy. The other vehicles air bags did deploy. The driver sustained minor bruises to the legs and the passenger sustained head and neck injuries. The passenger received medical attention and the driver did not. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The contact was waiting for the manufacturer to determine the power steering failure and air bag failure. The contact was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 08v161000 (air bags).
