The dealer diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle had been at the dealer for 3 months. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

The consumer stated ever since the dealer re-installed the gasket, the same fuel sending unit continued to leak gas.
