Air Bag Light On problems of the 2012 Hyundai Sonata - part 1

Air bag light came on, I see this model had recalls.

My car has and was serviced on the air bag before and once again out of the blue the air bag light is on , no changes have occured with the vehicle , no accidents nothing new and I have check the website periodically to see if anything change.

When I got my car . . It seized on me . Took to dealership than it was sent to hydai for the 11 recalls . . And now the airbag light is on and does not turn off . . It just turned on one day for no reason . . Not sure of the exact date . I can put approx. Since date has to be added in order to select next.

My airbag light came on randomly one night and will not go off, it will flicker on and off but eventually just stays on. This happened a few nights ago. I noticed it once I parked at home. Also the interior lights stay on unless I have them turned off (if they are set to come on with �door open� they stay on indefinitely).

My airbag light is on have had no accidents and on the steering wheel it's seems to be open on its own a little bit could I drive my car this way? I was just routinely driving my car the light came on went off came back on and it's still on it's been a week now.

Brake light burnt out also burnt the light fixture. Dealer said this was a problem so they changed the brake light piece on the harness and the fixture. But the didnt recall it. So if you order another light harness it won't fit because of the change. Smh now air bag light came on while driving down road. Now riding without brake light. I've seen so many of the same without 1 brake light smh. Guess same problem!.

Airbag light stays on. I have researched this online and this is a problem that a lot of people are having. I think there should be a recall for the airbag and the electrical system. The light stays on while vehicle is in motion or idling. As far as the electrical system, sometimes it will go off, I have to stop my car, pull the fuse panel and unplug something, wait a few minutes then push it back in and then my radio, lights, etc work again. The electrical has been happening for several years off and on. The airbag light staying on is in it's second week. I just replaced my battery and the light is still on.

There was a safety recall number 169 on my vehicle affecting the seatbelt pretensioner. I had it checked approximately 2 years ago and the dealership told me it was not defective. My airbag light has been on since that time. Now I took my car to another dealer and they told me my seatbelt pretensioner is faulty. They are charging me nearly $800 to fix it. They are stating since the recall was "cleared" they are unable to re-open it. This is dishonest. They know that the part is defective and are refusing to fix it. Just because it hadn't broken when I had it checked, doesn't mean that they still shouldn't be responsible for the defective product. I am now driving an unsafe vehicle because they are refusing to do the right thing. Please help me resolve this.

The airbag light ha been on in my car for about 3-4 weeks and stays on continuously, will not go out. I have tried to have it reset, but it does not help. I believe this is or should be a recall because I have been reading over the internet and several other owners of this make and year model of Hyundai are also having these same issues. Also, there appears to be oil leakage but we cannot see it. We have to add oil to the car every week, even after we have had an oil change the week prior. I took it to Hyundai of bowie with these same issues several months ago, but they said there was no recall and before they could check it out, there would be a bill. I did not have the money and believe there is something wrong with the engine and may be part of the recall.

Air bag light stays on but vehicle has never been in an accident.

1. ) I have been having issues with the fuel light flashing as if I am out of gas, when I just put gas in the vehicle. I had the fuel pump changed and that does not fix the problem. So now I am in the process of trying to find out what the problem is. 2. ) I have received a letter that there is a recall on the air bags, my air bag light is now on and stays on. When I checked online it shows that there is not any remedies available. I drive this vehicle everyday with my 3 children in the car. Heaven forbid I get in a serious accident and the airs bags do not deploy, who knows what may happen. This issue really needs to be corrected. 3. ) I noticed on the recall list that my vehicle also has a recall on the seat belts as well; another safety issue if I were go get in a car accident.

Takata recall. Engine light and airbag light came on. The car hasn't been working properly in the last few months so I pulled up the VIN number and noticed that the car had a few recalls went to Sonata cfl in clermont they said they couldn't fix anything because the engine light was on but that they fixed the airbag recall. So I'm still running my car, which is my only means of transportation with an airbag and engine light on. I'm scared for me and my children. I called today again to seek assistance or somewhat of answers of whats going on. They shared with me last time that my car had to many mileage that at the time had about 120436.

I bought my Sonata in Jan 2013. I went to start my car a few days ago and my driver side airbag came on and went out like normal but then the airbag light on my dash came back on and it stays lit while driving and also while the car is on in a stationary position. This is an ongoing problem, the plastic that the tail light bulb is attached to is melting and I have had to replace the tail light casing already recently. Since the replacement, I replaces a bulb and the plastic is starting to look burned again. Two weeks since I replaced that bulb, the light is out again. Everytime I have this problem my check engine light comes on. After a few days it goes off. When I take call the dealer they said if the light goes off they cannot check the problem, this problem started about 3 years after I got this car and now my check engine light is on again and will not go off. The driver side airbag light is alway on since a year ago. No accident. Looks like there are a lot of similar issues with Sonata.

When I'm driving whell kind of come off when I turn it's click at the whell. . Some reason airbag light on. . Every month I change my head lights or brake light it's turn off always I don't know why but I think it's electrical problem.
