Brake Light On Problems of Hyundai Tiburon

I was stopped this pass weekend and told my brake lights are not working, was told by the state trooper that there was a recall on Tiburon models between the yrs of 2006-2008 on stop lamps during brake don't illuminate and to get them checked out. . . Sure enough I found the recall online, I called Hyundai and they explain that my car isn't on the list for recalls. . . But I see the recall notices all over the internet. . . Please explain ??? thanks.

The switch for the brake light get stuck like the one on thatgot recall on the 2007 Hyundai's or 2008 Hyundai Tiburon is not list it ora 2007 Tiburon. When isthe same problems that the 2007 had the light will stay on you have to pump the brakes a few times to turn it off then it wont turn on at all. We call part store and we order the part and it took a week to come in during the time of all this we almost got in to 8 auto crasher because people did not seethe light come on or they were on when we were driving.

I was driving to a range site on ft. Sill oklahoma and the guys behind me noticed my brake lights were not working on my 2006 Hyundai Tiburon. All the bulbs are good and the fuses are not burned out. It seems to be a brake light switch failure.
