I bought a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon. The car now has only 32,000 miles and I started experiencing problems with the clutch. I brought my car to the dealership to have them inspect a loud ticking noise in Feb. 2008. They then proceeded to tell me immediately that it was the clutch bearing making the noise and needed to be replaced. I told them ok and asked them to fix it. Told me that it was a wear and tear item, and was not covered under the warranty. I left my car at the dealership and called later to check on the car. They once again said that the problem was the clutch bearing and I needed to replace the whole clutch for $900. After complaining to Hyundai corporate. The dealer then stated that they did not have enough time to completely diagnose the problem, and could not tell me who the person whom I talked to. I left my car at the dealership on two different occasions. I recently took the car back in for the same problem. Only at this point, the clutch pedal was making a grinding feeling. I have to put about 20lbs. Pressure on the pedal to easily engage 1st gear or reverse for that matter. At my last visit, they mocked me and tried to change the topic. Then told me they would order the clutch bearing and replace it. But ensured me that they clutch still needed to be replaced. When I tried to explain how I do not race the car, the gentleman told me in the ten years he has been there, only one person admitted burning up the clutch. At this point I feel like I have been taken advantage of, called a liar, and denied the warranty services that should have been rendered to me. It seems like this has been a recurring issue. I have yet to have the bearing replaced waiting on a phone call.

Ever since I purchased my 2006 Hyundai Tiburon in March 2006, I have had an alignment problem. My car always pulled right. After spending money for alignment new tires, and rims a friend informed me of a service bulletin. I went to a dealer service department and had corrected my vehicle per the service bulletin. According to the national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) website, NHTSA item number 10015876, Hyundai issued a service bulletin number 0550001, for ?four wheel alignment ?ex cam xr camber angle adjusting bolts. ? this has still not fixed my problem. So far I have spent for four alignments, six new tires, and my vehicle only has 16'000 miles. Please ask Hyundai to fix the alignment problem properly and also reimburse us for our expenses.
I recently took my 05 Hyundai Tiburon into the zimbrick Hyundai dealership in madison WI for service. I am having alignment issues with my vehicle and have had them since I purchased the vehicle. I discovered from the dealership that there is a common problem with the emergency brake system which can cause the rear brakes to lock up while driving. They stated they have worked on 7 or 8 recently where they had to replace the assembly. I see no recalls or TSB's on this issue and it is a serious safety issue that should be addressed. I also am having problems with the dealership covering warranty issues. There are TSB's on my car related to alignment issues the dealership is not aware of or are denying exist. I continually get very poor customer service from this dealer along with the westside of madison zimbrick Hyundai location. They constantly do everything they can to get themselves out of having to perform warranty services. I have a severe pull to the right as other have complained about that Hyundai considers to be normal. I feel that it is severe enough to where it creates an unsafe driving condition and could potentially cause an accident. I also have abnormal tire wear causing every set of tires I have bought for the car to only last approximately 15,000 miles. All of these issues are related to alignment problems. Hyundai refuses to even look at until I agree to pay for it due to Hyundai only covering "adjustments" (which alignments apparently fall into) for the first 12,000 miles. So much for my 5 year 60,000 warranty. I have seen other people complain of similar defects in the Tiburons and don't know what is being done about it. I also have other numerous problems that have been fixed on this vehicle ranging from electrical to paint defects. I strongly urge the NHTSA and other governing agencies to look into Hyundais practices and do something to help out the consumers who are stuck with sub par quality automobiles.
Left front window inoperative. Wheel pulled to right on braking, resulting in accident. The dealer installed a new window motor. The dealer attempted to alleviate the vehicle's pulling problem by aligning the vehicle but that did not help. The dealer ordered heavy duty bolts hoping this wil correct the problem.

I have never received any recall notices at my address, by phone email, not even face to face with the dealer when I took the car to the dealership. I stumbled across this by accident trying to find online how to fix my electronic key, that was Friday, February, 28, 2014. From 2002 to now, no mail, except to extend my warranty. They could reach me then. The dealer never informed me or said anything about a recall on my airbags, light has been on for years, I was told the airbag was no big deal, seatbelt replacement, fuel tank, suspension, I got locked in the car and I couldn't get out, I never know if I will be able to get my car to unlock. It locks itself which is scary, I am florida and if I get locked in again, with no a/c I can die quickly, it is called barters syndrome so I am on disability, I cannot keep potassium in my body which in a car locked in I could easily die, I can the dealer didn't utter the work recall or anything close to the word. He gave me prices to fix all these problem on the link below he is giving me these prices like I have to fix these at my expense am supposed to fix these recalls. If I can't get help or guidance I just the car the until it does kill me. , then my family will sue, will sue Hyundai and anyone else. The neurosurgeon's at mayo clinic said if I have an an accident I will either be dead or in a wheelchair. How do I find any one to help the car has on it at this time 3/4/14, 42,282 thousand miles. . May 15 2002 I bought (from Hyundai showroom) blue neon lights for windshield wipers $22. 59 had their service dept install them $30. The first time I washed my car they fell off. Yes, they were defective. June 11 Hyundai re-installed my old ones and in doing so dented the car roof. Aug 28 2002 with the pending possibility of lay-off I went into the dealership to see what my options were. The manager directed me to call financial lynx leasing CO. Financial lynx directed me to call dealership. The manager told me I could buy out my lease for $6000 at that time. Thank god I didn?t get laid-off. I am not looking to get out of my lease. Sincerely, carrie urbanowicz.
