Started in Dec 2015 had problem starting car. All the lights came on then died. Finally started took it to the mechanic for a diagnostic test no problem was found. After a week same problem occurred, I was told to press on the gas for a while. Worked, however three months later, try to start car all lights came on then died. If the manufacturer is aware of a problem inform the customers. Obviously there is a problem. Help us identify and solve the problem. Could you imagine getting ready to go to work but the car you drove yesterday would not start? what is happening? its frustrating not knowing what is wrong. Will my car start today? in addition the light comes on about the passenger airbag is off.

4 Air Bag problem

The contact owns a 2006 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, he noticed that the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed with the air bag module needing to be replaced. The independent mechanic cleaned the contacts for the seat sensors however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. I was driving in traffic on a two lane road. I heard a load bang and my car began to speed up. I tried braking but I could not slow or stop the car. With traffic in front of me I pulled into the left lane not seeing any oncoming traffic. Then a car was coming in that lane so I threw the car into park and pulled up on emergency brake. Since it was raining, the rear end of the car came around and I got hit on the passenger side rear door. The car finally stopped against a fence with the engine still racing.

- the contact owns a 2006 Hyundai tuscon. While driving 5-10 mph the vehicle was struck on the front and back drive'sr side doors. The driver's side door would not open. There were a total of four occupants in the vehicle and all were belted. The driver sustained serious injuries. The contact has a police report and pictures of the vehicle.
