1 Brake Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings problem

Failure Date: 02/15/2021

Hyundai never notified us of the subframe rust recall. Our mechanic just pointed out that our's. He said the car is unsafe to drive. Getting it replaced at our expense. Brake lines have already failed and had to be replaced at our expense. Alternator and power steering pump, front suspension all at our expense. Hyundai unresponsive.

2 Brake Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings problem

Failure Date: 04/26/2018

At around 80,000 miles a brake line ruptured while my wife was braking to avoid a truck that had cut in front of her. The brake pedal went to the floor and the entire brake system subsequently failed. The Tucson eventually came to a stop. The driver's front brake line had ruptured. The vehicle had to be towed to a qualified mechanic. We've now replaced all the brake lines however now the brake pedal is spongy and does not stop as well.
