9 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 06/14/2009

2006 Hyundai tuscon constantly refuses to drop into gear when coasting and stalls quite frequently. This issue has been happening for the last four months. I have stalled while sitting at lights and the car has accelerated even while coasting. We took it to a dealer in 2009 for the stalling issue and were told it was because it was overheating due to the extreme heat and weather.
